Reading the comic strip was one thing, but hearing the emotions dubbed was a whole new level of tear dropping sadness.

Poor Apple Bloom.
I can still remember the moment I had checked this out for the very first time. I was only getting into MLP with a grain of salt, and was still reluctant about liking it whatsoever. And then this got recommended to me…boy did my life change after that.
This comic dub showed me just how amazing the fandom could be with a whole lotta different content. How truly talented and incredible bronies could be.
This comic dub right here was a gateway into being a part of one of the greatest fandoms ever. And I will never forget the moment I checked this out for the first time.

Poor Applebloom. My sister feels this way about our Nanny. She barely remembers her because she was so young when she died. She was four and I was six. I still have memories of her, but my sister doesn't even remember what she looked like. That's got to be tough. I'm crying for everyone who doesn't have memories of their lost loved ones. :(

I lost my father when I was 5 years old now I’m 9 years old! And I still cry about him.
This really got me crying because I lost my mom to cancer & never had a father figure until I met a friend who was like a father to me but he too passed away from cancer.

Thank you scribbler for telling this story for those who have lost their family's as well as those who never knew what it would be like to lose the love ones. for me i'm lucky that i haven't lost my parents... but been through devorce which is in a sad way close to losing family, but still this episode alone is what made me see and hear your talents for all to listen and help those who would lose family and friends, guess in short thank you scribble fr your efforts for these gems you share and listen to how these stories are heart felt, again thank you =^_^=

Okay, correction, I WAS WRONG. AJ's parents ARE dead, the Perfect Pears episode only showed flashbacks when I expected her parents would be alive at the present.

I think core of the apple is a brilliant idea to have made I love it its so dramatic and so sad and it makes you wanna see if it gets better and better rather then worse and worse

Just imagine that they put this as the final scene of the episode "Family Appreciation Day", showing us that although Apple Bloom is proud of her family, she also misses her parents and it hurts that she doesn't have them.
If they did that, the episode would be immolated and would make everyone burst into tears, even the critics of the series.
