Oh wow, I actually never thought about any of this, great video Carthu :) You mentioned how Goku would still become the first Super Saiyan God, but I was thinking maybe Gohan could be the first, since he'd be way stronger than Goku if he actually continued his training during during the time lapse from the Cell and Buu sagas, and as the strongest Saiyan he'd be the best option to fight Beerus. Not too sure if this could be possible, but it's definitely something to think about.
I always thought that Gohan would be able to learn Super Saiyan God "alone", i mean, we don't really know how Vegeta got it, but it's surely because his body got use to be surrounded with God Aura. I don't really know if it would work with this What if, but with his potential, and knowing the "Spirit Training" from Piccolo, plus training and fighting with Gods (if he trains with Kaio Shin and fight against Beerus, for real i mean, not as he did in B.O.G), i think he would be able to unlock the God form without using the Ritual. At least, we know that the Ritual isn't the only way to get it. But well, i'm even sure that if he really trained as hard as his father until the tournament of power, he would even unlock the Ultra Instinct before the T.O.P so... It's finally a good thing that Gohan just took his peaceful life, there would be no difficult in any arcs if he just trained as much as Goku haha

That said I can see some ways for my Scenario to work during the Saga but it has to be done earlier like just before Vegeta and Trunks come out but after he saved Piccolo and Tien, In which after realizing the Threat of what Cell is capable off he travels to Yardrat and requests a Yardartian to come with him and teach him the basics of all the Spirit Control Techniques that he didn't learn. Him, Gohan, and the Yardratian could go in the Chamber together to teach Goku and possibly even Gohan all of the Spirit Control Techniques. (And before you ask the Two-Person limit was only because of Food Reason than anything else). Or just Goku then when he gets the basic down which might not take that long depending the Yardratian leaves the Chamber then the Father-Son Training like normal possibly even using the remaining time unlike in-Canon, And if Goku thinks he still need to perfect Spirit Fission or any other technique let him have the Piccolo training like in this What-IF.
BC Spirit Control wasn't even an idea back when Goku went to Yardrat. Gotta love when they have poor writing like this that takes away from pre-established lore vs adding to it.

Great concept, really enjoyed your explanation on all of it. Definitely felt like the technique would have added to the story but now crazily change everything. I am curious if you dove into the GT lore if it would have changed a lot. Felt like there were a ton of fusions there.
I do like this idea especially Goku's different view on the Cell games and his role in the world for the next generation because he had another 6 months of self reflection on the matter. I could also imagine another smaller part to this what if would be others possibly going to yardrat for spirit control training at an earlier point but that wouldn't likely affect much.
Almost perfectly realistic what if as always. My only complaint is that Nail didn't emerge from the technique as well. And decide to just return to New Namek.
I feel like the fusion is more like assimilation, Nail doesn’t exist anymore, only Piccolo does. Nail even said that all he’s giving is his strength and power, not his personality.

If Goku had Forced Spirit Fission wouldn't that mean Goku Black would have the same ability considering the fact that Black also had instant transmission, and Goku learned this ability in the Cell arc, then theoretically Both Fusions Vegito and Merged Zamasu could defuse each other.
I like how you made piccolo and kami unfused because that would be too OP and focus on goku which is the antagonist of the what if and in super when everyone is super strong you fuse them again. Nice job.
The ONLY thing that would change in the tournament of power would be the fight against Kefla. Goku wouldn’t use UI because instead he would use Forced Spirit Fission to defuse Caulifla and Kale.
Spirit control gives them more raw power too as shown when vegeta didn't realize he became that strong after meditating and learning spirit control. Spirit control goku would probably overpower cell w/o even needing to separate him. Vegeta became just a little weaker than ui-omen level just by learning spirit control. Of course omen is an unquantifiable multiplier, but I'm confident goku learning spirit control would put him way above even super perfect cell, especially w/ 6 months to perfect it in the time chamber.
Ok Carthu , hear me out , if this what if ever goes into a dark direction with buu absorbing goku(because goku would oviously not die in the cell saga so he'd probably be weaker in the buu saga) i don't think forced spirit fission would work on a potara fusion as it's a totaly diferent being with it's own unique spirit . Think of potara fusion as the nuclear fusion thet happens in the core of a star where 2 elements are combined into a totaly diferent, distinct, heavyer element while piccolo's nemekian fussion or cell/buu's absorbtion would be more or so the equivalent of an alloy where you get 1 "substance" that's composed of multiple atoms that could be separated Edit: i commented this before the premire ends, this logic should still apply to kefla and merged zamasu though

Yes. In the 5 year time skip, Goku and Majin Vegeta both surpassed Gohan's Cell Games power. And with less than a day's worth of Z Sword training, Gohan also became far more powerful than he ever was before. Gohan was barely able to even lift the sword in his base form when he first held it, stumbling backward when he tried to swing it. By the time Goku arrived a few hours later, Gohan was already handling the sword far better. And in this moment, we get a decent look at how he compares to Goku, who has a similarly difficult time lifting and swinging it when he tries. So at that point Gohan had already closed the gap with his dad's power. Another few hours later, Gohan was spinning the sword around in one hand with incredible speed and finesse. As if the sword weighed nothing to him now. So in their base forms, Gohan would have to be considerably stronger than Goku by then. Even without Elder Kai's ritual.
I think the best thing to remember is that since Goku separated the grand supreme kai from buu, Goku and Vegeta most likely wouldnt have any knowledge of moro as the galactic patrol would go straight to the grand supreme kai and they would seal Moro away themselves without a problem

I mean if he underwent the training vegeta went through I doubt he’d need forced spirit fission because spirit control naturally increases your power and provides even greater ki control/potency. He’d probably be just as strong as ssj2 teen Gohan at least in my opinion.
I actually had a theory about this exact idea If goku learned forced spirit fission Most Villains like Cell, Super Buu and probably majin buu, Purple Vegeta (I’m assuming it’s actually a fusion like buu), Fused Zamasu (Considering goku has Kaioken kind of mastered with ssb, I’d say he can Beat Goku black), Kefla (maybe considering he likes to have a fun challange) the rest of the Fusions in the tournament of power and Moro Would all just not even be a challenge for Goku So realistically only Beerus, Frieza, Hit, Dyspo (if he was going fp maybe he could be a challange), Jiren, Broly, Granolah (first meeting), Gas, and Black Frieza Would only Be the villains giving Goku a challange (2 of them were Overkill tho, Beerus (actually trying) and Black frieza would def just be too much for goku)
I feel like this technique shouldn't work on absorption, as it is a bit different from fusion which is more magical/ki in nature, and absorption is more physical.
personally, i don't feel the kais would have been removable from buu as they were too intergrated with him, like seven three apparently was with morro because spirit fission couldn't remove him... so really, spirit fission would really only affect the cell and morro arcs i guess.
seven three was removable from moro, the reason vegeta couldn't do it is because he needed to actually hit moro to use forced spirit fission, and moro simply didn't let vegeta hit him anymore because he knew about the ability at that point
The Moro arc would be a bit different. Since Goku knows forced spirit fission they should be able to finish of Moro in namek. Moro also can’t absorb 7-3 because he hasn’t made his wishes yet.
Something I've wondered about Forced Spirit Fission is if after the user returns the energy back to their respective owners, what happens to the energy that has no body to go to. Like, when Cell not only absorbed the humans energy, but their biomass as well, where will that energy return to after FSF is used.
nice video, but theres something I'm left wondering: with Goku taking care of Cell quick enough for Vegeta to never get mad at the death of his son, and Vegeta also never going through his Majin state and his acceptance of Goku as his better, how does this affect his morality as a character? Is he still effectively locked in his Android/Cell Saga phase where he cares more about showing off than dealing with the actual threat? How would he be as a father? A husband? How would Vegetas perceived lack of growth impact Vegito and possibly Gogeta?
Well I mostly agree, just two things I would change 1. Goku would very much unlock SSJ3 in the seven year time skip, as it just a form one finds by pushing beyond SSJ2. And since Goku was already doing this in the entire series, with the change here being how far and his sons could climb, I do believe he’d get SSJ3 by the time of the Buu Saga 2. All though Fat Buu was regaining his full power as time passed since his sealing. The power increase from Kid Buu would be extraordinary, as even going by just the manga and some subsequent guides and Toriyama statements, Kid Buu would relative to Buutenks. Even if it was a weaken Kid Buu, the increase was still be immense off of Fat Buu
1. I agree to some extent that Goku would still get Super Saiyan 3 but worse stamina due to him being alive so he can’t master it. And Goku wouldn’t really need SSJ3 at all due to him getting much more raw power training with Vegeta and Gohan. Remember what Whis said in Super; Saiyans training together can help them grow just as fast as training with Whis. 2. I completely disagree and with Carthu in this one because he’s right. Kid Buu only got stronger than both SSJ3 Goku and Fat Buu because limitless power growth thanks to Bibidi’s one last trick before being killed by Shin. He casted a spell that’ll allow Majin Buu to grow limitlessly overtime once he’s free from the pink shell so that he would destroy the entire universe without being stopped by others. Kid Buu was much weaker 5 million years ago but got this strong due to him absorbing South and Grand Supreme Kai, becoming Fat Buu. So once Goku used Forced Spirit Fission to separate the Supreme Kais, he’ll be reverted back to Kid Buu at his weakest and his most vulnerable. No spirit bomb or SSJ3 required at all. Just teamwork and cooperation to take Buu out.

SSJ3 ain’t a hard thing to figure out as Goku in the anime/Kai/daizenshuu says it’s just digging deeper and tapping into strength beyond saiyan potential. 2. It is never stated that Kid Buu got stronger due to Bibidi magic. Toriyama said that Buu existed from the beginning of time, and all Bibidi did was summon a physical form for Buu to take on. And guides and Kibitoshin only say he’s reverted to his former state and power. I do think this Kid Buu would be weaker than the one in canon for two reasons. For one, we know that Buu’s power had to acclimate to his true strength after he got out of his shell. And two, we know Buu can infinitely grow stronger through fighting as seen in GT and Super. I think the power increase from Fat Buu to Kid Buu would be immense

Gohans role as a secondary character is pretty solidified but I can see that happening for sure! :)

I say for the Tournament of Power arc, they likely would bring in Goten, Trunks, maybe have Whis search for Broly, or an Otherworld fighter like Piccon before going to Freeza as a option.
I think it would be more likely for whis to get brolly than get Trunks or Goten to fight and if somehow Whis didn’t find Broly then they’d get Freeza to fight instead
If Goku had Forced Spirit Fission wouldn't that mean Goku Black would have the same ability considering the fact that Black also had instant transmission, and Goku learned this ability in the Cell arc, then theoretically Both Fusions Vegito and Merged Zamasu could defuse each other.

The ONLY thing that would change in the tournament of power would be the fight against Kefla. Goku wouldn’t use UI because instead he would use Forced Spirit Fission to defuse Caulifla and Kale.

Spirit control gives them more raw power too as shown when vegeta didn't realize he became that strong after meditating and learning spirit control. Spirit control goku would probably overpower cell w/o even needing to separate him. Vegeta became just a little weaker than ui-omen level just by learning spirit control. Of course omen is an unquantifiable multiplier, but I'm confident goku learning spirit control would put him way above even super perfect cell, especially w/ 6 months to perfect it in the time chamber.

Ok Carthu , hear me out , if this what if ever goes into a dark direction with buu absorbing goku(because goku would oviously not die in the cell saga so he'd probably be weaker in the buu saga) i don't think forced spirit fission would work on a potara fusion as it's a totaly diferent being with it's own unique spirit . Think of potara fusion as the nuclear fusion thet happens in the core of a star where 2 elements are combined into a totaly diferent, distinct, heavyer element while piccolo's nemekian fussion or cell/buu's absorbtion would be more or so the equivalent of an alloy where you get 1 "substance" that's composed of multiple atoms that could be separated
Edit: i commented this before the premire ends, this logic should still apply to kefla and merged zamasu though

@@hi__x i already gave an example of how nemakian fusion is diferent from potara / metamoran fusion, my point being solidified by the fact that in the TOP Piccolo was able to sense the multiple distinct energies comming from the u6 namekians. Also there is no guarantee the yardrats know about metamoran/potara fusions(which goku learned about after hearing the vague principals of forced spirit fission)

And with less than a day's worth of Z Sword training, Gohan also became far more powerful than he ever was before. Gohan was barely able to even lift the sword in his base form when he first held it, stumbling backward when he tried to swing it. By the time Goku arrived a few hours later, Gohan was already handling the sword far better. And in this moment, we get a decent look at how he compares to Goku, who has a similarly difficult time lifting and swinging it when he tries. So at that point Gohan had already closed the gap with his dad's power. Another few hours later, Gohan was spinning the sword around in one hand with incredible speed and finesse. As if the sword weighed nothing to him now. So in their base forms, Gohan would have to be considerably stronger than Goku by then. Even without Elder Kai's ritual.

I think the best thing to remember is that since Goku separated the grand supreme kai from buu, Goku and Vegeta most likely wouldnt have any knowledge of moro as the galactic patrol would go straight to the grand supreme kai and they would seal Moro away themselves without a problem

I mean if he underwent the training vegeta went through I doubt he’d need forced spirit fission because spirit control naturally increases your power and provides even greater ki control/potency. He’d probably be just as strong as ssj2 teen Gohan at least in my opinion.

Most Villains like Cell, Super Buu and probably majin buu, Purple Vegeta (I’m assuming it’s actually a fusion like buu), Fused Zamasu (Considering goku has Kaioken kind of mastered with ssb, I’d say he can Beat Goku black), Kefla (maybe considering he likes to have a fun challange) the rest of the Fusions in the tournament of power and Moro
Would all just not even be a challenge for Goku
So realistically only Beerus, Frieza, Hit, Dyspo (if he was going fp maybe he could be a challange), Jiren, Broly, Granolah (first meeting), Gas, and Black Frieza
Would only Be the villains giving Goku a challange (2 of them were Overkill tho, Beerus (actually trying) and Black frieza would def just be too much for goku)

I feel like this technique shouldn't work on absorption, as it is a bit different from fusion which is more magical/ki in nature, and absorption is more physical.
personally, i don't feel the kais would have been removable from buu as they were too intergrated with him, like seven three apparently was with morro because spirit fission couldn't remove him... so really, spirit fission would really only affect the cell and morro arcs i guess.
seven three was removable from moro, the reason vegeta couldn't do it is because he needed to actually hit moro to use forced spirit fission, and moro simply didn't let vegeta hit him anymore because he knew about the ability at that point

The Moro arc would be a bit different. Since Goku knows forced spirit fission they should be able to finish of Moro in namek. Moro also can’t absorb 7-3 because he hasn’t made his wishes yet.
Something I've wondered about Forced Spirit Fission is if after the user returns the energy back to their respective owners, what happens to the energy that has no body to go to. Like, when Cell not only absorbed the humans energy, but their biomass as well, where will that energy return to after FSF is used.
nice video, but theres something I'm left wondering: with Goku taking care of Cell quick enough for Vegeta to never get mad at the death of his son, and Vegeta also never going through his Majin state and his acceptance of Goku as his better, how does this affect his morality as a character? Is he still effectively locked in his Android/Cell Saga phase where he cares more about showing off than dealing with the actual threat? How would he be as a father? A husband? How would Vegetas perceived lack of growth impact Vegito and possibly Gogeta?

Well I mostly agree, just two things I would change
1. Goku would very much unlock SSJ3 in the seven year time skip, as it just a form one finds by pushing beyond SSJ2. And since Goku was already doing this in the entire series, with the change here being how far and his sons could climb, I do believe he’d get SSJ3 by the time of the Buu Saga
2. All though Fat Buu was regaining his full power as time passed since his sealing. The power increase from Kid Buu would be extraordinary, as even going by just the manga and some subsequent guides and Toriyama statements, Kid Buu would relative to Buutenks. Even if it was a weaken Kid Buu, the increase was still be immense off of Fat Buu
1. I agree to some extent that Goku would still get Super Saiyan 3 but worse stamina due to him being alive so he can’t master it. And Goku wouldn’t really need SSJ3 at all due to him getting much more raw power training with Vegeta and Gohan. Remember what Whis said in Super; Saiyans training together can help them grow just as fast as training with Whis.
2. I completely disagree and with Carthu in this one because he’s right. Kid Buu only got stronger than both SSJ3 Goku and Fat Buu because limitless power growth thanks to Bibidi’s one last trick before being killed by Shin. He casted a spell that’ll allow Majin Buu to grow limitlessly overtime once he’s free from the pink shell so that he would destroy the entire universe without being stopped by others. Kid Buu was much weaker 5 million years ago but got this strong due to him absorbing South and Grand Supreme Kai, becoming Fat Buu. So once Goku used Forced Spirit Fission to separate the Supreme Kais, he’ll be reverted back to Kid Buu at his weakest and his most vulnerable. No spirit bomb or SSJ3 required at all. Just teamwork and cooperation to take Buu out.
@@calvinkopp1735 1. I’m not saying he would need SSJ3, I am saying he would definitely figure it. SSJ3 ain’t a hard thing to figure out as Goku in the anime/Kai/daizenshuu says it’s just digging deeper and tapping into strength beyond saiyan potential.
2. It is never stated that Kid Buu got stronger due to Bibidi magic. Toriyama said that Buu existed from the beginning of time, and all Bibidi did was summon a physical form for Buu to take on. And guides and Kibitoshin only say he’s reverted to his former state and power. I do think this Kid Buu would be weaker than the one in canon for two reasons. For one, we know that Buu’s power had to acclimate to his true strength after he got out of his shell. And two, we know Buu can infinitely grow stronger through fighting as seen in GT and Super. I think the power increase from Fat Buu to Kid Buu would be immense

In my opinion I think since kami and piccolo were originally one, if Goku would split anyone from piccolo it would be nail since he's a separate entity from piccolo to begin with. But good video regardless. Keep up the good work.
South, the Kaiyoshin absorbed by Buu was the southern Kaiyoshin.
The northern Kaiyoshin was killed pretty much effortlessly killed by our pink magical and deranged menace.
