    This just gave me an idea for an episode (or 3). You should get all your reviewers to rate their favorite super shoes. Then describe what kind of runner they are: Forefoot, midfoot, rear foot striker? How relatively fast they are at the marathon and maybe how relatively big/heavy of a runner they are. Then you can do an episode about which super shoe is best for which type of runner. And why? Is it soft? Aggressive? rockered? Anyway there you go. It's NOT a super shoe tier list. It's a Super Shoe matching guide.

    Yesterday, I did my first run with the Gara long reps. I loved them! They provided good grip on wet asphalt even at high speeds. My feet remained comfortable during and after the run..
    Thank you guys. Your review introduced me to these great shoes. 💣🥰

    Another great review guys, I'd struggle laying out $300 on a shoe from a brand that doesn't have much back story in the UK and there are so many great shoes out there, I'll stick with Hoka Rocket X2 for shorter races and AF3 for longer!

    I REALLY hope they bring that midsole to the company's trainers. Love the looks and love the idea of the made in Italy shoes, but EVA just doesn't excite.

    Hello, nice review. I recently ran a marathon in the Vaporfly3. Previously used the Vapofly2 which seemed softer. I had hard legs in the second part and did not feel the bounce I used to on the previous version. Being a long distance triathlete I want a more forgiving and softer race shoe than the Vaporfly3, maybe the Gara Carbon is the answer? Also, never tried the Alphfly, how is that compared to the Gara Carbon? I am referring to paces in the 2h50 3h10 range for the run station. Thanks for your help

    Could you compare this to the TYR Valkyrie racer? What super shoe does this feel closest to in your opinion? Appreciate all your great reviews. I first saw BITR when Thomas was interviewing Danny Orr on the NB SCE V3. i said to myself , "this guy is good, he know his stuff and is not scared to ask the neeeded questions".
    Great team chemistry & humor!!!!! , " Carboooon"😅. keep it up!!!!!

      The TYR felt the most similar to the Saucony Endorphin Pro. The Gara is a smoother ride. Both offer excellent energy return.

    • @Otis220
      @Otis220 4 месяца назад

      I've now have had the TYR Valkyrie Elite Racer for a bit. You're totally right about it feeling like a Saucony EP3. If I could add a little...it's like a hybrid with the Saucony Endorphin Elite because the late aggressive rocker is the same, not like the earlier stage/less aggressive Speedroll in the pro 3. I also now prefer it to one of my favs, the EP3 because it feels better for my 200 lb size.
      I guess I'd call it, "the Clydesdale EP3 with an EE1 rocker". I know this is a El Carboooone review. Definitely softer and I feel the low drop. Great shoe though!
      Lastly, excited to hear about this new foam in the shock limited release of the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2. Ran Amsterdam Marathon last year in the first version. Great firm shoe.

    I’ve just done a 15 miler in these, with 40 mins at MP. I’m really torn on what I think. The upper is sloppy, too baggy, does not feel like a race shoe. I also felt I had too much shoe underneath me. The midsole is marshmallow. But….. I kept being surprised by the power I was delivering relative to effort. And legs felt fresh at the end. I particularly noticed the power boost on uphills. So it’s a good shoe, a very good training shoe but I don’t think it merits $300, it’s not a race shoe and I’m sticking with my VF3 for Boston.
