love the way you speak in these videos. very easy to understand the concepts you are teaching.
I want to see a safety video explaining dangers of poor ventilation and risks of working with different glass and fume. You have a big reach over the glass community especially for beginners
Great suggestion!
Life causes death and danger surrounds the most fun stuff in life. Whatever you do don't ever blow glass inside of your safety bubble
@@MAGATRON-DESTROY amen 🙏
This guy fuckin rules, man!!! I was watching him back in the OG days; then RUclips life took me down other rabbit holes. I recently searched this page, years later, and its not only still going strong, but there is so much more content now, as well as incredible opportunities to learn from guest artists. Also, if you're the type of person that is like 'I don't know fashion. What shirts looks good?"; you can watch these videos, and then be like " Oh, ok!! I should buy a shirt like that!!". Cheers from Canada!
Beautiful work! ❤
Thanks for appreciating!
My favorite style, by far.
I miss 20 years ago, when everything was a variation of this style.
The glass was so beautiful, compared to what I see in shops these days.
I hope it makes a comeback; and doesn't disappear completely when all the OGs move on from this world.
Thanks for the upload.
It won’t disappear! You can always learn that from my RUclips channel!
@@revereglass It's getting to the point where the old school has to blow their own. lol
I went looking for a fatty new piece in the head shops of my town - and they are ALL filled with nothing but thin Chinese glass.
Depressing.
Love ur work I’ve learned so much just from watching your videos I just moved from Nevada to San Jose Berkeley is less then an hour drive away would love to come hang sometime 🤘

Very relaxing clear voice
Glad you think so!
Such a timeless and classic technique, never gets old!
Thanks for the comment, truly appreciated.
Beautiful Glass 😍

Is there any reason I shouldn’t use regular scissors? They work pretty good but I haven’t used them on anything more than snipping off molten ends or as a handheld necking tool. Just don’t have money to buy anything new at the moment and haven’t recently had the torch time to justify ordering new tools
You can find scissors almost identical to cup shears. You can make your own shears with various metals and braze handles onto the blades with your glassblowing torch and use a grinder to shape and sharpen them
This technique is so cool
Thank you for the appreciation!
Love your work and your videos. Thank you so much for the years of inspiration, both past and prospective. Cant wait to see the art and community grow. I'll try my hand at it the instant I'm able and join.

shout out to doshworld; cut and flip pioneer
Much love
Thank you so much for the love and support!
Side question because I know they make graphite rods. If I order a thick enough rod of graphite.. could I potentially use that rod to help re shape it and try to eliminate some of the potential trickiness in reconnecting after the flip?
About at the end of the video.. one question did you put that in the kiln at all in between steps? Or strait thru it ???
your awesome
I know youve commented a while back, but thank you for the appreciation!
Where do u get the silver and gold to do this?
I have a piece almost identical to thats nearly 2 decades old
Would love to see it!
I don't want a pickle...
