I have played this in a few racquets. 1- 100% agree. It’s fantastically kind on the arm. It’s amazing if anyone has arm issues. 2- yes it has a muted sound 3- its an awesome string beyond that. Controllable power, good to very good spin. Solid at contact. You feel you can move and place the ball. I think its predictable which is great. I am gonna string this now on a lighter version of my current racket to fix the arm pain the lighter version gives. Alpha has been one of my top strings to date after testing a lot.

Alpha is awesome. I am currently using it with irukujandi in the crosses. A very comfortable feel. I have it in a speed pro 46lbs mains and 48lbs crosses.

Do they have a muted feel? I love muted feels for some reason in my racket

    What tension was this at?

@pinkbailey7829 I don't see any benefit. They're similar strings. M8 a bit firmer. I like a full bed of Alpha. It holds tension & it's a soft poly, easy on the arm & pockets well with good spin potential.

How much softer is it than Tour M8?

A small but noticeable amount. Definitely worth a try if it sounds like what you’re looking for.

@@rich.e which has more spin potential? Tension maintenance?

@@rich.e I have TE. Just switched from Wasabi with a multi in a 18x20 to Tour M8 with a multi. Im wondering if I chose the wrong string with TE?

Agree, Alpha is noticeably softer than M8.

@@robygong1267 but would you still consider M8 soft? I was using Wasabi and thought is was soft. I think the M8 is softer.
