I got a pair of Model 99s a few weeks ago. I was a bit disappointed when I checked the swing weights of the two and saw that there was a difference of about 9 points (I think one was 297 and the other was 288). I tried the heavier swing weight one last weekend and I liked it quite a lot. Stable, comfortable and nicely predictable. It produced exactly as much spin as I was going for and there were only a couple shots that felt good and didn't go in. I also strung them as low as I've tried so far, Luxilon Natural Gut 17 mains @ 44 lbs, Ytex Protour Blue crosses @ 42 lbs. I strung the other one the same except I used Grapplesnake M8 for the crosses. I'll try that one out this weekend...
Try the nordic dots, YES there is some beef and bad spirit with beckett from tenncom, but the grips are great the balls are great and the raquet is also phenomenal
Hello, thx for the review. Very Interesting! how does this model compare to the carve 100 allcourt? thx
Totally different than Carve 100 allcourt. This one is best when hitting flatter shots and super accurate especially flat serves. Carve feels like original Babolat Pure Aero with raw and uniform feel to it, you can generate good spins and quite stable in stock form. Both are excellent racquets in my opinion.
This is a paid comment section, y'all are too obvious w the negative comments 😂
tried the racquet. it has decent stability but, unfortunately, is a little too gimmicky with the whole higher sweet spot. Phenomenal Graphite construction grade though I will give them that!
I have over 100 name brand racquets including the latest ones, Model 99 is among the top 5.
I think jerod worked on his forehand- technique 👏🏻
I dont mind the tenncom thing, because this guy is not able to play a decent strike
Curious to know how this compares with the YONEX Percept 100D
It plays much more soft, also comfortable, much higher launch angle and more spin for some reason i cannot explain. Great racket.
Yonex 100D is vastly better.
Yonex 100D is good overall. Model 99 is more powerful with better spin and feel more like pro stock
@@yosuperyo100 interesting comment which is making me more curious, although the price and availability at my location are quite a deterrent.
@@svlagonda7417 in what ways is the 100D better?
Not sure why Head Boom is listed as there power racket. The head extreme to me is definitely more powerful. The CPI says Head Extreme is lower than the Boom but I do not believe it. Compared to the extreme MP the Boom has a thinner beam, lesser RA, and lesser weight. There many rackets I have not been able to try but thus far I have not played with another racket with more power and spin. I would love to compare it to the babalot pure aero 100 because it’s specs seem similar to me. I have played with the aero 98 and the Extreme does have more spin and power than it. You have got to try the extreme. Unless you just don’t like the look of it and I would say that is not unimportant.
?Hairy great video, one question how does it compares to a Yonex Regna 98 and 100?
HAIRY?! XD
@@dunsdonjone1537 xD
Be careful with swedish racqueteers😂😂😂
They're Norweigian
@@thecat4272if you rub any Norwegian you will find he is Swedish😂😂😂.
@@андрейенютин-ы5ъlmaooo
it looks like a Bard shape racquet
Chris and beckett are both 7 utr
A copy to wilson STEAM 100? 295 gr, 16x20, real Badosa racket
For a first racket it’s just ok. Nothing remarkable about it just decent power decent spin decent feel. Does everything just ok id pass and get a carve racket or just buy a used Yonex for a similar price. Much better frames
Another promotional video zzzzzz
Why say "literally" sold out vs. just saying "sold out." Is there such a thing as "figuratively" sold out?
Overrated racket and a terrible company run by an unprofessional owner
I really liked the racquet (and planned on ordering a second one), but I returned it after I learned how they treated Becket at TennCom.
I had a very good experience with them. I just send my 100 back and will get a second 99.
@ thats because you didnt deal with the CEO, lol
@@zuh1902 how’s it overrated? Or are you a Beckett alt account or even worse a fan boy 🤣😂? It’s actually a good racquet that doesn’t deserve the hate for no good reason than a ytuber being a sook.
@@Cheeseburglar-hm2 i already demoed it. Plays like a low power Ezone trying too hard to replicate the Regna. If I'm a fanboy than you're probably employed or sponsored by Nordicdots. Lol
18:27 in the video, latest Head Prestige MP is a 99 si head size too fyi
flexy 16x20? sick.
Well, it is
The racquet will not work. The shape, the string pattern and the sweet spot
Any used Yonex racquet is better than this junk!
Have you tried it?
My man stop spraying nonsense around the Internet, only one raquet can compete with the nordic dots is a pro stock raquet and nothing else man.
I do not agree! I ordered a second one
@@Tennissensitive same🎾💪🙋♂️
I’m going to order the new 100 to try it as well
Sounds very clunky. Def not a good one.
Hugely disappointing racquet.
Have you tried it?
@@jamesbittle9789 obviously they haven’t because it’s a good racquet and one of the better releases of 2024..
@@chainSaw-b2y I've played with it. I thought it was pure junk. Another gimmick carried by OTT social media hype. In 6 months time, people won't even remember it.
@@vwmusicplaylist1935 what didn’t you like about it? I actually think it’s pretty good and I’ve never used a 300 g racquet that was so stable. I’m interested in your opinion and let us know what made it junk.
@@vwmusicplaylist1935 did the Nordicdots guy bang your chick?? And take all you own?? You seem salty bruh on every ND video spewing garbage how about get a hobby. I’m a high level player higher than most of you on these pages and I find these racquets good but I get it they’re not for beginners so I understand why you wouldn’t like it.
This channel has just turned into constant product advertising and product promotion. I NEVER go to this channel for reviews.
You should try this racquet and play for few sessions then you will know how good it is.
@@yosuperyo100 I've tried it. It was garbage.
Perhaps the string set up was not right. I used their power string at 48lbs and it’s definitely my top 5 racquets
