Amazing thodi.... this is te Hindustani equivalent of Subhapanthuvarali in karnatic music. From 42:00 to 44:00 she is very much in the karnatic tradition. Really sublime...
They are simply the ताना sung in Raag Todi.

Anyway, listening to Ashwiniji is like being in heaven! Musical heaven and bliss!
I recorded these audios in physical concerts, where it would be a waste of one's attention to record the video at the cost of missing out on a live concert. No rasika would like to experience a concert through the lens. The audio was recorded using an audio recorder placed in my shirt pocket without hampering my experience of the concert. Hence, the "pseudovideo". That's how most of the classical music channels are.
This touches straight to the "ruuuh"....It reaches to the God in me!
I had the pleasure of attending this concert.
As always, Ashwini Ji was absolutely transcendental!
She went on to sing Raga Kukubh Bilawal and Raga Suha Kanada after this sublime rendition of the Raga Todi.
