Thanks for the info.Very strange and unique how you got it fixed.Is it "install.ins" or "install.inf".Just called some of my guys in symantec and mcafee tech support. They haven't heard about it till now. I will message you after a week to check if there are more cases of same issue.This will help to understand if this is a one time happening or a recurring one.

Today I've received the following error message in my Vaio laptop.
'You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.' I don't have such recovery media with me. What do you suggest?❤

IE might be corrupted. Go to "advanced" tab, click on "reset"
This will reset IE to factory settings.
