my Hx edit is updated to 3.11 and when i connect my Floor to it, i get no prompt to update the firmware. I click "check for updates" and it says none available help!
What a pain. This sucks every time. I was trying to get 3.15 and is says I need the latest editor but it won't let me click on it. They really have to make this easier. Now I will be stuck here for hours trying to figure this out like every other time. Sucks! Sucks! Sucks!
I followed all those steps but when I open HX Edit it says "Connection Interrupted" at the bottom in red letters. Next to it, there is a button that says "Reconnect" but it doesn't work. I've tried different the cable that came with the Helix, a new cable I bought, directly connecting from the Helix to my computer (not a HUB). I'm trying to update firmware from 2.12.2 and I downloaded HX edit version 3.11. My OS is macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. I've reinstalled HX edit a few times also making sure my Helix LT is off when installing it. Not sure what else I need to do. Can anyone help?
hello, I want to ask friends here. Why does my Line 6 Helix LT experience intermittent sound (no sound even comes out) when the effect is first turned on? However, after 10 minutes the sound returned to normal. does anyone know?
Please, can you give me instructions on how to update Helix in win 10, because I have a problem...When I download, the only thing I get is a text message folder with binary numbers,that is, when I try to open it in Win Zip...Thanks...
This is so annoying it skips the part that won't update the HX edit for me. I have it downloaded but it does not update so then I can not update the Helix. It also won't update the updater.

I did update my Helix Floor yesterday. I didn’t get the new preset-lists (Factory 1 and Factory 2) but the old ones were still installed. Is that a bug?
I found Chad Bostons video helpful as you don't necessarily have to do a reset 7 + 8 buttons. When you restore your presets from your saved file you just check mark your user presets and you do not check the factory 1 & 2 and templates. That way you don't have to reload your user presets.
Someone help me please. I was updating my helix when I jammed the cable and it stopped. Now my helix is frozen, and when I restarted it, it won't work.
The way they are telling too do it is all wrong. Log out of HX Edit. If you don't have line 6 updater installed log into your line 6 acct. download line 6 updater, log out of line 6. plug helix into pc or mac using usb cable, power up helix, use line 6 updater log back in and it will tell you there is updates available or will continue with update, download complete, now you can use hx edit.
I just wanted to let know Line6 people that showing the windows interface procedure should be great. I know exactly how to do it, it's just a comment for Line6. We are lot's of happy Windows users out here 😎

I just updated to 3.70 and the HX Edit app doesn't pick up my device and my Helix LT is stuck on "Boot Failure, Entered Update Mode!"

I can't get Helix 3.6 firmware to show up as a readily available update. I am running HX Edit 3.6. Any ideas?

My helix is stuck at download complete and won’t update to 3.0
laptop crashed while updating my helix rack. It's now a Helix Brick.

You only get the new presets if you reset your device, but you can download the set lists directly and load them separately.
