An excellent honest review. I love my Honda izy for what I do. I'm not a pro gardener like you, but I do voluntary gardening, and the izy is an amazing little machine. God bless you brother Peace and love.
Hi Damien, great video, I'm thinking of getting one of these, I've took a couple of very large gardens lately both with lawns that are a bit bumpy and altho prestigious properties, not really prestigious lawns, and thinking about using a dedicated mulcher if they leave it tidy looking, because of the size I like the idea of not emptying a bag all the time, would you say this would do a better of clean mulching vs the other Stihl you have with the mulch plug? Or would I be better with that and have the option of bagging ?
Martin if I was you I would buy the other Stihl mower the rm655v as it has both options mulch and box grass. It is a rear wheel drive which makes a huge difference on hills and slopes and it is also a faster walking speed machine than the dedicated mulcher. I personally only use the dedicated mulcher on small jobs as I find it not as comfortable on bigger gardens. Where the rm655v is ideal mulching bigger lawns👌The finish off both machines is outstanding you would not even know the lawn is mulched✌️ Cheers for Sub and comment✌️ Good luck this season I hope it all works out for you🙏
Your mulching mower could have grass build up behind the engagement pully or a sticky cable. As for the rm655 try backing the cable that put the drive belt in gear, I have a rm650 it never spins on wet slopes leaving mark's. Does it do a better job than putting the plastic plug in the rm655. Nice informative vid Damien.
Thanks for the heads up Adrian. Yes I find the Rm 4.0 Rtp mulches the grass better due to the clever dome shape deck and very strong sharp dedicated mulching blade👍
All well over here in southern Ireland. This Stihl dedicated mulching machine is a very strong work horse👊 I have to have a dedicated mulcher in my van.
For me the husqvarna mulcher mower is better but for me I am going to but a as motor mulcher next. I prefer mucling mowers. Only thing about sthil and husqvarna mulcher is the height of cut they need at least seven heights of cuts
I had a husqvarna dedicated mulching mower with side shoot option for discharge. I personally feel Stihl have put alot of thought into the deck design which is crucial for a mulching mower. I also agree that another 2 height levels would be very handy on high awkward bumpy surfaces👍
Is nice cut from it. But still find front drive is pain. Nd for contacting work slops hills it really shud be Rear Drive. I'd love to hve kept stihl muhcler in my stihl fleet but overall just didn't work out. Nd we sold ours on very soon after buying it. Going buy 2nd Rm655 vs nd muhcling blade
Hi, is this mower the similar quality as the husqvarna LB553S mulcher, I’m looking at the Stihl but it’s cheaper than husky so just wondering quality etc ? Thanks
Gav cheers for comment and subscription yes the Stihl Rm is a fine robust machine good power and cuts through high thick grass no problem. I can not fault the machine so far👊
The 655 is just coming to the US, will be using mine this coming week here in the south east.
I am delighted for you mate✌️ what a great machine
A brilliant review, thank you for sharing your experience. All the best to you.
Rob thank you for taking time to watch my review. Many thanks

Rennee thank you for taking time to watch my video. Godbless you Damien
Imagine what it would do to my grass?! You excellent idea of artificial grass saved me so much work this summer. Thank you Damien
Artificial grass was the only answer to your garden especially with no side entrance. I will cut back the shrubs in November for you.
Thank you Damien but I honestly think there is no need.
I hope Santa has got one of these lawnmowers today which I have always wanted for my gardening business. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas thanks for Sub and comment🙏
Good stuff Damien. You've a great selection of options with your equipment depending on weather etc. Crucial really for this climate. Take care.
Thanks Paudie great to have everything under control equipment wise. Have a productive week mate

Thank you very much. I have a Honda Izzy myself find them a very tough little machine. Great to hear you volunteer garden fantastic stuff🙏
Do you think it can handle 2.500m2 land with small hill?
Absolutely mate they are a very robust machine alot of commercial companies are using them.
Cheers for subscription and comment.

How does this machine perform in wet or long grass?
Performs very well on a higher setting 👌 you can gradually lower it as your cutting .
Thank you. I'm just starting out do you think this would be ok for my first lawn mower to start?
@@olivia1uk I did a review on the Stihl rm655v I think this is a better machine personally👌
@@mr.tidygarden Thanks I'll take a look at that. I appreciate your advice.
Do you know what the m2 cut per hour is ?
I was thinking about getting that mower next year to replace my old mulch. Hope your well Damien?

Can you fold down the arms?
You can not fold the arms down they are bolted in position. Cheers for comment and subscription✌️
@mr.tidygarden Well that sucks, what's the difference between the Rm 4 RTP and the RT 4 RM?
The rt you can fold the arms down
@@fivestarsupplies no the arms are bolted solid mate
@@JDMM92 watch both reviews mate and see which machine suits your business✌️
