I agree. Also, I think that the amount that the MLS is growing is INSANE! I mean, we are attracting people like David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic! I'm really glad this is happening, it's about time that we (America) starting to enjoy the best sport ever invented (American Football isn't bad, though)!
Wow as a football fan this man makes me feel that there is more to life than just being reach and live your life without dream a dream that will not only benifite you but a dream for every one in your community.
I'm Here after watching Inter Miami winning MLS Shield with a team including Messi, Suarez, Busquets, Alba. This is called madness, this is called vision! You have my respect DB.
Mark my word People.....give MLS ten more years and you'll will see that people from Europe ,Arab ,Asia, Africa and all over the world will be Buying MLS Jerseys. I'm from New York City and i've following MLS for past ten years or so and progress i see each year is mind blogging...from stadium attendance to atmosphere has been skyrocketing. Al the teams are very competitive, unlike spain, germany or france where only 1 or two team always wins. MLS = Future of football(soccer).
I'm glad this is over and that another fabulous City gets the club it deserves. Also, my congratulations to David Beckham for never giving up... He is going to be a fabulous owner. Anyone know if this is part of another MLS expansion, or is Miami replacing Columbus Crew?
They'd be best putting the stadium in an area similar to where the Dolphin's stadium is. Make it more inclusive of the entire metropolitan area of Miami and not just downtown/south beach area. With Fort Lauderdale Strikers folding, the entire SoFlo needs a footy team and strategically locating the ground will gain even more support region wide.
technolan feloman haha yeah it is but I miss my footy and that tribal english side of me needs a club to cling on to and to be able to get that feeling of just going to the match haha
Dave Appleby in florida is mostly cuban, pr and dr, listen most of futbol fans in usa are latinos. vast majority of them follow their clubs and leagues back in their countries. mls. im mexican and i follow the chivas. my friend from paraguay. big olimpia fan. argentines i know follow racing, river, san lorenzo, boca etc. i cant watch mls it cringes me
Entiendo. Estuve viviendo 7 años en México (Xalapa) y entiendo muy bien la pasión que sienten ustedes los mexicanos por sus equipos...aún los que viven afuera! Pero en lo personal el poder seguir un equipo e ir al partido con frecuencia me late. Saludos!
Loads of times I stood alone for David ,back in the day,but so many years with so much money and so secure. He’s relating with a different level of problems (which his money covers) while slapping himself on the back. No other to present though.
Only Beckham got that offer from the league, but Drogba went to play for a second division team in Pheonox that is currently in the running to move to MLS. The owner of that team gave him part ownership as part of his contract so soon Beckham may be joined by Didier Drogba as an MLS owner...
My cousin goes to the same school as Beckham's daughter. Its a school in London, England. The uniforms are purple. Whenever I go to London England to visit my family, and I pick up my cousin, Im so close to Beckham....................... SO CLOSE
I’d admire his drive but Miami has been here before and if Orlando keeps up lackluster playing I don’t see a Miami team.It will happen but it’s gonna be a another few years cause we all know Cincinnati FC who brings in amazing attendance (better than some MLS teams) and don’t see Detroit or North Carolina either.Id like to see expansion stop after the next eastern announcement and wait a few years. Its easy for me as a NYer I have 2 mls teams but I just would like to see them wait a good while with Miami
David Became and his wife are wealthy , which provides the opportunity of showing an example to all wealthy people that children in need of support should considered potential contrivers to keep people as they consider the les well off in society.
David you know we all love you but now you're no longer just a famous football player now you're an owner of your own team and a businessman you look handsome in suits and now you have to dress for success to demand respect and keep on smiling. No more bold hair and tattoos where you can see them. Follow the example of your fellow owners. Just a little advice. Good luck we are waiting for the new stadium and games to start.
I hate that it feels like mls tainted his legacy like it all depends on the league becoming the best in the next years but like looking back to when he came to the galaxy, its as if he stopped his career there like there were TWO ROADS, literally like and he chose mls and like now theyre stuck together forever, like he couldve gone to a good club when he left real madrid it makes me sad
This isnt as rosy as it seems lol being an owner in the best leagues is a big challenge nevermind the mls. And doyou think big clubs more established in europe will let you take their players easily ...americans care about finance more than anything they dont have the passion and patience required for the long run in football because profit and success don't come overnight in football it needs a long time.
Im talking about the business owners in america are not passionate about the game like in europe you see them in europe too. Football isnt a sport children are brought up to play in general in the states it comes maybe 5th in the pecking order so how can teams compete with europe? its not going to happen until the culture of the land becomes all about football and that wont be the case because other sports want to dominate the market.
you know how many jobs creating this team is going to create? players, staff, medical teams, scouts, marketing. David Beckham is out here creating jobs and you're on youtube bitching like a dipshit.
Beckham doing it big out there. Good luck to him. The way he conducts himself if admirable
Beckham is a legend, cant wait for this team to start
This guy is impossible to hate.
WOLVES WWFC1887 yes..she is not
I agree. Also, I think that the amount that the MLS is growing is INSANE! I mean, we are attracting people like David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic! I'm really glad this is happening, it's about time that we (America) starting to enjoy the best sport ever invented (American Football isn't bad, though)!
if he is a conservative liberals will hate him real fast
Argentina, Barcelona, Liverpool, Man City and Leeds fans hate him.
Try as we have over the years... :D (I remember '98!).
Wow as a football fan this man makes me feel that there is more to life than just being reach and live your life without dream a dream that will not only benifite you but a dream for every one in your community.
Good luck to him man, this guy put MLS on his back, because of him, you have a lot Superstars playing and wants to play here
It is marvelous that he still has his passion for his sport, that matters.
He’s amazing and an absolute inspiration. Good on you Beckham....passion always wins!
This league really needs big experienced players like Beckham. He will definitely elevate the league.
At least he's doing something for MLS other than just playing on a team for a final pay check, like other former MLS DPs
I'm Here after watching Inter Miami winning MLS Shield with a team including Messi, Suarez, Busquets, Alba.
This is called madness, this is called vision!
You have my respect DB.
I bet he gets an academy player into the US national team within 10 years.
Mark my word People.....give MLS ten more years and you'll will see that people from Europe ,Arab ,Asia, Africa and all over the world will be Buying MLS Jerseys. Whoever makes his suit is legendary man...impeccable.
What a gorgeus man
Bring the following
Messi
Neymar
Ronaldo
Lewandoski
Neuer
Pogba
Ibrahimovic
Iniesta
Pique
Sergio Ramos
Marco Reus
Boeteng
Alaba
Agüero
LA Galaxy man . Don’t let Beckem get them
That would definitely a dream team...no doubt!!!
Stop dreaming
You paying their salaries?
Americans ain't that big on football to pay those salaries.
Even though no matter what were still gonna get HATERS this is another step for MLS were getting there
Imagine after Messi, Ronaldo become old they come to his team to play about 2-3 seasons it would be madness!!
Turbo net not a chance
Turbo net never going to happen
I love how in the add MLS wasn't one of the "Popular" leagues lol!
THEE MAN OF MANY TALENT DAVID BECKHAM
Love how he held onto the scarf the whole time lol
Maybe it wouldn't be as big as English teams but it would be ( hopefully ) dominant in MLS
I'm glad this is over and that another fabulous City gets the club it deserves. Also, my congratulations to David Beckham for never giving up... He is going to be a fabulous owner.
Anyone know if this is part of another MLS expansion, or is Miami replacing Columbus Crew?
So, err... 🤔 Beckham for president lol
has the same shit media trainer it seems
Good luck Becks you've got my support!
I can't believe I share a birthday David Beckham 3rd of May love you . everyone please like this
I recall he got into trash talk with Galaxy fans years ago, thank god nobody throw a shoes at his face again :-P

Dave Appleby mls is a joke
technolan feloman haha yeah it is but I miss my footy and that tribal english side of me needs a club to cling on to and to be able to get that feeling of just going to the match haha

Dave Appleby i watch english league, fa cup etc. i read sun, daily miror, bt sports, sky, bbc they do better job than american pundits
Entiendo. Estuve viviendo 7 años en México (Xalapa) y entiendo muy bien la pasión que sienten ustedes los mexicanos por sus equipos...aún los que viven afuera! Pero en lo personal el poder seguir un equipo e ir al partido con frecuencia me late. Saludos!
Will be the toughest open tryouts in all of mls...put miami on the map.
Again Congratulations💙💙
Loads of times I stood alone for David ,back in the day,but so many years with so much money and so secure. He’s relating with a different level of problems (which his money covers) while slapping himself on the back. No other to present though.
MLS Congratulation💙💙
I wonder if Thierry Henry can buy a team? If that was in his contract as well? I would love to see titi own a mls franchise
Only Beckham got that offer from the league, but Drogba went to play for a second division team in Pheonox that is currently in the running to move to MLS. The owner of that team gave him part ownership as part of his contract so soon Beckham may be joined by Didier Drogba as an MLS owner...

The team should be called miami dream
I’d admire his drive but Miami has been here before and if Orlando keeps up lackluster playing I don’t see a Miami team.It will happen but it’s gonna be a another few years cause we all know Cincinnati FC who brings in amazing attendance (better than some MLS teams) and don’t see Detroit or North Carolina either.Id like to see expansion stop after the next eastern announcement and wait a few years. Its easy for me as a NYer I have 2 mls teams but I just would like to see them wait a good while with Miami

Has the whole knighthood thing just been swept under the carpet?
we will see talented soccer player kids from foot ball dominant nation.
Ibrahimovic is a huge possibly for them, looks likely he will be leaving Man United.
obvious
Wrong, he's struggle with old injuries...probably he might not make it to MLS. Man United already released his contract.
You mean MLS.. and he's still under contract with Man United until the end of the season. It'll be a good move for both parties if it happens.
SuperMillwall1885 He hasn't played for 2 months, Mourinho believe that ibra will make a decision to leave United after this season
David Became and his wife are wealthy , which provides the opportunity of showing an example to all wealthy people that children in need of support should considered potential contrivers to keep people as they consider the les well off in society.
You gonna need the Z! Zlatan in your team
Beckham has got all the retiring European players on the phone begging for contracts
David you know we all love you but now you're no longer just a famous football player now you're an owner of your own team and a businessman you look handsome in suits and now you have to dress for success to demand respect and keep on smiling. Natural disaster will destroy the stadium why Florida
