Very nice, both the show and the video. I've thought about dabbling in 6mm, but no... i haven't the time. The large games do give a lot of room for strategic maneuver... something we don't really experience in our 28mm games. For us it's the science of deployment that becomes important. My 15mm SYW armies keep me busy as well as my new endeavor, 28mm WWII Far East. I credit the Kings & Generals series on the Pacific Theatre, Eureka's fine 28mm figures for the period and yourself for inspiration... the Paint & Chat while updating your Far East terrain. If I am ever satisfied with the photos, I'll post them. Thanks again for the great coverage!
Top work as usual Alex, and I even snuck in in the background too (definitely need to lose a bit of weight!!). It is definitely my favourite show of the year, and I agree with Miles rather go to Jo6 than Salute even though it's hundreds of miles away and not a short tube ride.
Thanks for the vid and showing a wide range of tables and people. Lol had to laugh at the Little Wars comment...a little show at 150-200....here in NZ that would be bigger than anything we have put on in ages 8-)
Horses for courses. i have some 28mm, but a lot more 15mm, some 10mm and a tiny bit of 6mm. plus the 2mm armies in the works. Scale of encounter is the determining factor
Funny comment from Greg with Little Wars TV: "we do not get in the US: there's not a single - not one - 6mm vendor for terrain, for miniatures, for anything" as I've got a number of great 6mm pike and shot era minis from Microworld Games, based in Florida.
First bloke is an absolute legend! love his stuff
It was a great show. Really happy to see RUclips ers like you, big Lee and the Little Wars TV guys there! Let’s grow this baby!
Cheers David, I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully Jo6 will only get bigger!
Excellent video. The short interviews between segments are really good. I thoroughly enjoyed that.
Cheers Lee! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Stunning tables of all sizes. As always the chat segments give it life and human touch.
Cheers Heth, glad you enjoyed the video!

Cheers buddy, glad you enjoyed the video. I'm not a massive 6mm game myself, but there is plenty to marvel at at Jo6
Great video. It was a real treat to see the gang from Little Wars TV too! Love SOS, keep up the great work!
Cheers Ken!
We need some more 6mm Star Wars games.
That 15mm CoC you did was very inspirational.
We do indeed. I'm glad you enjoyed my SW game!
Great video as always with the right balance of table shots and interviews. Well done to all involved in the day. I must try to get up next year.
Cheers Steve, glad you enjoyed the video, Jo6 is a great event and well worth visiting if you get a chance.

Cheers Iain! It was great to meet up again and Jo6 is always a pleasure to attend!
Another brilliant show report Alex! Thank you!
Thanks Charles, it was good to see you and I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to chat more, but you were busy! We'll catch up at the next one!
Wonderful Review, Alex. Great to see the games. 👍 Especially nice to see the Little Wars guys - fantastic effort to come over to the UK for the show.
Cheers Andy, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, there was plenty to see and do and people to chat to as well. A great show.
Amazing commitment all around…with great commitment comes great reward….
thanks for posting! would love to make this event 1 year
You're welcome, it really is worth making the effort!

You're welcome, yeah, everything is relative.
Didn't know this was on my doorstep, but I do now. 6mm rocks. Maybe next year.
Great video. Where'd you get the interesting music?
Thank you, it's just a free tune by Kevin Mcleod, he has a lot of royalty free music that I use for background.
Excellent looking show ! Beautiful tables
I would have loved to have been there! Glad it was an amazing day!
All the best!
Yeah, Jo6 is always a great show, well worth attending if you can!
Nice report. Thanks. I really must get there one day!
Cheers! Yeah, you really should!
Looks a an awesome event.
It really is, it's well worth paying a visit to in future!
Looks awesome, I play with 1/76 scale
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Is that Hexon? What rules are being used (1:30) ?
Yep, it's Hexon, but I have no idea what rules Dan was using.
A great looking show!!!
It is indeed!
I would like to have seen a full video of the Imjin River.
It wouldn't have been a very long video.
Love the War of the Worlds game :)
Yeah, it was a good one.
It was on my list to play but my choices were dictated by 12 year old daughter
6mm is the scale to go for. Its cheap and far more realistic.
Not any young ‘uns, cheeky sod. I’m not even 79 until next month😎
Nice video.Did Greg get roll any dice 😂
Thank you, ha ha, yes he did eventually!
i think we'll be back too! are you coming to pendrakens bash next weekend?
It's well worth a revisit! I'm afraid not, it's a bit far for me. But you never know...
@@StormofSteelWargaming it's only about 90 mins from you surely? Took us 2 hours to get to Sheffield and Boro is 40mins south from here
@@hobbitomm I checked and it's about 1hr 45 mins, a bit too far for me, I'm afraid.
Awwwww
What was the hex terrain used in the Bighorn game? Anyone know the name of it?
I think it's from Kallistra
@@StormofSteelWargaming Thanks!
I thought the joy of six was referring to 6 sided dice. :) 6 and 10mm are the best scales
I'd say 15mm is better, but each to their own

I think he meant shows, and just misspoke, to be honest.
Hey buddy GHQ is made in the USA and has some of the best 6mm stuff ever made.
He was talking about shows, not manufacturers...
