Great tutorial! Quick, gets right to the point, with immediate ingame feedback! One suggestion... hold on the code a second or two before poping over to the game. Sometimes it was hard to pause at the exact moment you finished a line to see all of what you typed. Next, I'd love to see two things... 1) How to load a custom texture and put it on the screen, maybe swap it between two states depending on whether or not the global cooldown were on/off (or any criteria really) 2) How to move that image from one place to another... on a timer.
Nice tutorials so far :) easy to follow and simple to understand. If possible a tutorial for creating visual UI elements would be awesome. Maybe the music player could be the first project to add UI for, but some more advanced things like customizing your actionbar would be really cool to learn. Good job and keep the tutorials going!
Hello, Paul. Is there a way to code an addon that would allow Wow camera controls to play like destiny 2. I.e. camera moves with mouse by default and right click to target enemies. Thanks.
Definetely need more videos, my man, these two were great though. I would suggest some UI stuff maybe, something clickable, menus etc., maybe even customizing existing UI somehow.
Awesome videos, thanks a lot for making them! I'll be attempting to make an addon that makes the enemies arena 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 UI frames look like Raid-Style Party Frames. I'm a Network Engineer who dabbles with programming, so wish me luck.
Everything works, but the stopsound function with the custom song. I copied and pasted the code and doesn't work either. So i guess it must be something else to configure in my system or IDE.
Hey Paul! i'ver just done both of your Wow lua addon tutorials, and i would love to know how i could be able to reskin the borders and backgrounds to make it look more modern like ElvUi en a couple of others.
I already know I will love this series. I would love to see a video in how to properly cache globals and when to do it and not do it. Maybe making that in a how to optimised your wow add-on code. 😂😂👍
Arguably the best WoW Lua tutorial out there, but one tiny gripe. It's anything, not anyFINK and nothing not NoFINK 😐 But I'm just as annoyed by the american intrusive-R syndrome (saw / sawr, idea / idear)
Please, Bring more videos about WoW's Addon!
Hey man, these tutorials are excellent quality, would love to see you continue the series! Thanks for all the work so far!

Love this- do you still intend to make more of these videos?
These are the best tutorials! Thanks! Have you given up on more videos or will they be coming in the future? UI would be great!

You're seriously hounding someone about their accent? What the fuck lmao
@@fozgoth Thousands of people do, but the "polite" thing to do is ignore it. I'm just very outspoken about it.
