- today im out to a customer who has supplied a salamander tap boost to increase the flow rate on her kitchen sink tap.
so i'll be installing the pump under the kitchen sink in line and will show you how to install - Хобби
useful vid, Just fitted a new small bore mixer and now the flow is rubbish, so I'm going to buy one of these tomorrow.
Thank you for the video
My plumber has suggested this as an alternative to the expensive 2 bar pump fitted at the tank end. So I was keen to see how this improved the flow. Unfortunately your video somewhat skipped over the important part. I think you should have dwelled on the improvement - or lack of - and it would have been good to get the customer to give his impression. Also timings would have been VERY useful. Ie. It takes 45 seconds from the tap being turned on to getting hot water out of it WITHOUT the pump and WITH the pump it was only 20 seconds. That sort of thing.
EXACTLY GOT US WATCHING FOR SIX MINS AND DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO TEST
PISSED ME RITE OFF
It maybe outside of spec' but I'm using a home boost to pump a fortic tank output. Fortic tank is in the loft, and homeboost under the bath to supply a bath mixer. Bathroom has cold main feeds so normally severely imbalanced supplies. Works ok even for a shower. Looking at the manual suggests can feed an outside tap so I may have a go seeing if I can get this running off a 12v solar panel / battery setup. These pumps are bit pricey now though.
Got a home boost in a box in the garage still undecided if to use it. So yes get one 😊
I have fit the home boost for a customer before worked a treat did it about 3 years ago and been good since no complaints
Is it as quiet ad the tap boost?
If I can remember right little louder and is a bigger unit
Great video 👌
Many thanks 🙏
Thanks for watching
