A TIME TO CHANGE | Award Winning Short Film made by Children on Climate Change

Our Budding Berries Filmmaking Workshop came to St. Mary Queen of Martyrs primary school in Hull.
The year 3 children made this excellent short film all about climate change and the affect it could have on our world.
The film came 1st place in the short film category at the Handle Climate Chance Film Festival in China! It also came 1st place in the non-fiction category in the Hull HOSCARS, and has appeared in multiple film festivals around the world!

"This is a message from the future,
A future that could possibly come true.
We're sending this message as a warning,
To everyone who's watching. To all of you.
Our world looks different to how it used to be,
This has happened due to climate change.
Everything's dull and dying now,
To you, it must look very strange.
We refused to listen to the warnings,
Now we all wonder why,
We didn't change things whilst we had the chance,
We were too stuck in our ways to try.
So this warning we've sent back in time to you,
Make a difference before it's too late.
Don't take for granted your world as we did,
Or your Earth will suffer the same fate
Take a good look at the beauty around you,
Clean up the land and the sea.
Take pride in every life on this planet,
Every person, every creature, every tree.
Don't waste what the planet provides you,
Use the power from the wind and the sun.
You can help stop the ice caps from melting,
And get rid of pollution. It can be done.
People from all over the world,
Must come together and work as one.
This is our only home.
Trust us, you'll miss it when it's gone."
