Hey.How are Butan-2-Ol and 2 methylpropan-2-Ol isomers when they have the same position of Ol group which is "2"?Thanks
Because the position of the methyl group has changed
When branches change doesn't that make it a chain isomer? @@TheAnimatedTeacher
idk if 2-methylpropane is a positional isomer because the carbon chain is branched. With the other two it isnt. So I think its a structural isomer instead.
