Thanks, I only had this intake for a little while, but yeah I could hear the release sound a lot more when ever the diverter valve opened, also the sound of the turbo spooling.
thanks for the info.I notice on mine that it makes a sound everytime I release the pedal.I wasnt sure if it was the intake because I also install a Forge BOV at the same time so I was thinking my BOV was the one making the sound.
If you installed a BOV the release sound you are hearing is definitely coming from the BOV and not the intake, an intake will make the sound more noticeable but no where near as loud as a BOV, the BOV will release the pressurized air into the atmosphere which makes it sound louder (and better in my opinion) where as the stock diverter valve will recycle the air back into the intake.
Samuel Robitaille i only had this intake in my car for a few hours, friend let me borrow it just to test it out. Stock intake works fine with most tunes, Im running eurodyne stage 2 with stock air box and a K&N drop inn air filter, a down pipe is usually all you need to go stage 2. This type of injen intake gives you more intake(turbo) noises, and might give you better throtle response since theres less restriction, not sure it will give you much power since its not a true cold air intake, but having a less restrictve intake usually helps the turbo spool faster.
thanks for the video, its amazing the different sounds it makes. much better that the JDM fart cans!
u know this is an intake not a muffler right
@@CaptainCandycorn zoom zoom!
You know this is the cheapest jdm brand 😂

thebeastmedina and at the same time wasting all that useful air. I agree BOVs sound cool, but do more harm than good
No harm more like loose power baby
Was there any muffler deletes or was everything stock besides the intake
Olympic Llama just the intake, everything else was stock
what rack setup do you have?
It's an oem vw rack, they got them on amazon or you can get them from the dealer. The wind reflector is a universal INNO DON'T remember what size.
Is this a good intake for stage 2?
