When my parents were preparing a room for me they had a cat named Merlin and he thought that it was his room and all his toys. He would bring them all over the house and play with them. Let's just say when I arrived he wasn't exactly thrilled.
I love how thoughtfully, lovingly and gently you guys introduced your cat and baby and more importantly *included* your cat into your new family. So many people get so absorbed in their babies that they completely abandon and neglect the cats, depriving them of attention they deserve just as much as any child.
I wasn’t a baby when I got a newborn kitten, but I was in preschool. I met my cat the day he was born. Helped bottle feed him. He passed in 2019 at 18 years old. I doubt I’ll ever have a bond that deep with another animal. He’s in every memory I have. I don’t remember a time without him. This kind of bond is truly beautiful.
I find this interesting considering I’ve never had cats. The only cat that ever interacted with my eldest as a baby was my MIL’s. That cat loved my husband but didn’t care for me until I was pregnant. Once I had the baby she went back to not caring for me and preferred my husband again. She liked the baby just fine until she got old enough to grab her. Once that happened she preferred to trail behind her at a distance.
My parents adopted a tabby the day they discovered they were pregnant with me, and of course when I was born, that tabby wouldn't leave my side. That cat let toddler me pick her up and carry her around like a ragdoll under my arm. Cats are so tolerant of babies.

'Shes asleep'. Milo was asleep too but you still stroked him.
He has a lush temperament and I love his long hair.
Awww he's mirroring in the end! That's something cats do to spend time with us, they mirror what we do. That's why they like to sit on laptops when we work on them, and he's mirroring the way she sleeps. That's so precious!
That cat could be a James bonds villains cat, it needs a real diamond collar to complete the look.
5:53 - Oi, tiny-hooman give me some attention!😂
Aww that final shot❤️
Darren79 🔻Exactly!
I love this cat, and of course the baby too. I really loved the way the owners treated their cat with the new baby, always showing love for the animal so sweet, and the new baby getting her share too What a lovely video.
That cat is going from what is that strange creature to purr, I love that baby.
I found one rule: The day before yesterday's leading actor is Phili. Yesterday is Niko. Today is Milo. Grandparents is on the way~ What a lovely family

Cat tries out bouncer and you can just hear the wheels turning..."how come the newbie gets all the cool stuff'?
All I can say is, AWWWWWWWW!!!!🥰👶🐈
This child is going to grow up with a love of cats, pffttttt.
I love how Shane had Mia and Milo on the bed, but Milo was the one getting cuddles!
Ange Maidment milo is Shanes baby
@@lifewithmalamutes Haha! wasn't Shane the one that absolutely didn't want a cat before you brought him home? How lovely and expansive is the heart
Never wake a sleeping baby.
Kitty tummies are hard to ignore.
Milo is just reminding everyone that he is the center of the world, but can choose to be magnanimous when it fits into his plans
Cats are usually very wise.. They know, by instinct, how to be careful and loving with a baby or a toddler 😉
Beautiful baby and cat.. Blessings of happiness to your family 🙂
When my parents were preparing a room for me they had a cat named Merlin and he thought that it was his room and all his toys. He would bring them all over the house and play with them. Let's just say when I arrived he wasn't exactly thrilled.
that last scene is amazing. Beautifully funny. Both of them out for the count.
Ok them napping together absolutely cute!🥰🥰
"Why this thing has your smell? Why it's moving? Why so small? Where's the fur?"
5:54 . The cat is acting like your friend when she asks :"hey... Are you up??!! ". Son funny 😂😂
Milo's already becoming a good kitty sibling. And the bond will continue to grow & deepen.💙
Such a friendly cat!
I love how thoughtfully, lovingly and gently you guys introduced your cat and baby and more importantly *included* your cat into your new family. So many people get so absorbed in their babies that they completely abandon and neglect the cats, depriving them of attention they deserve just as much as any child.
God thats the most beautiful maincoon and ive ever seen just wow
5:21 I swear that baby is PURRING!
Stage 2: Hooman Kitten has comfortable stuff

Cat: hairless cat, time to wake up
I wasn’t a baby when I got a newborn kitten, but I was in preschool.
Misaki Ohayashi some cats will only have one owner
Your MIL's cat be like:
"I does not like you, but you are hooman's loav, and u is growing tiny hoomn.
Therefore I protecc until u no need protec"
I've been waiting for this, I just knew Milo would come around.
My parents adopted a tabby the day they discovered they were pregnant with me, and of course when I was born, that tabby wouldn't leave my side. That cat let toddler me pick her up and carry her around like a ragdoll under my arm. Cats are so tolerant of babies.
5:53 “hey human, are you sure it’s still alive?? I’ll check for you.”
You only need one stage: *Happiness*
I love🐱 Milo's first reaction, "Who is this hairless wonder?" As in all things with cats, time is always on their side. This is so cute!💛💙💜💚❤💛💙💜❤💚💜
I love Milos face when she hit his nose. "Yeah, it does that..."
4:10 her face😂 “dad, is this okay? Because if you think it’s okay, then is okay. Is it okay?!”
Didn't think that Milo would EVER approve of another human in the house. But seems for now, Milo will tolerate lil Mia!
A positive, long lasting relationship formed! Congratulations!
“Have you stolen her bed, Milo?”
“Be quiet, food dispenser. I’m just keeping it warm.”
Milo is a very chill, sweet cat. I’m 59 and always have had a cat in my life and love cats. But my aunt (RIP❤️) had a MEAN cat that would attack everyone except her. He once jumped down from the refrigerator onto the washing machine repairman’s head while the man was bent down fixing the machine and attacked him. LOL. Blessings to Milo and baby. 🙏😊
Mia is a beauty and thanks to her fur family will grow up strong and healthy and resilient and loving. What more could anyone want.
What a beautiful baby girl! Her patience with all the animals is outstanding. There is nothing that can be said about the three pets... because they are Gods present to you and your daughter. They are wonderful. The understanding they have for the family is remarkable. You are blessed in so many ways. Kathleen
2:28: "Milo, that's also Mia's!"
Milo: "Your point being?"
I never get tired of seeing these cuties it never get old. In this trying times with the world is experiencing right now. A big smile on my face. Love it.
I have not seen Mia smile like she does at 4:45
She's so adorable
Mia’s filling out beautifully🤗🌻💕
Will be in 3 to 6 months soon🤗🌻💕
Lovely compliment Milo gave Amelia when he purred and kissed her, Yeah!!!!
You give them all so much love there’s no room for jealousy.
Love how a cat that’s really bonded with someone needs confirmation you’re still there when you’re napping together. Even just one paw touch. “Okay. Still there. Zzzz...” Mine does that all the time. His tail will twitch in my face if he’s sleeping on the back of the couch and I’m curled up just below him. If he’s next to me, he’ll reach a paw over, or curl up under my chin.
2 of the most adorable things this life could give us in a package. Jealous to say the least.
