I don't know if you guys have noticed, but Prophet fell on the same place where Nomad fell after they jumped from the ship in Crysis 1, and then the house where Prophet gets up and speaks, the whole place is from the first mission in Crysis 1. I love this game.

I've got to say that this was one of the best stories I've played in a long time. Had a very emotional plot and looks better than most ps3 games out there and prophets voice is just bad ass
I totally agree. Although the gameplay was shorter than most it was the very best story I've ever seen. It had the right drama and emotion and difficult interplay of the major characters without having even one nude woman or a causal sex scene. I loved this game and I just watched Brad play it.
When he was falling out of the sky, I was looking at the area thinking to myself, "noway, that couldn't be the island" then it showed him walking out of the shack and I lold. Anybody who's played the first 15 mins of Crysis 1 will never forget that view. Awesome throwback to where it all began, nice touch Crytek.

I'm so sorry people! I made a mistake!!! It's Prophet that save the Marine on the begining of the third game and kill himself, them the Marine become Prophet, because the dna on the armor.
I found the easiest way to dodge the drill attack is to jump down onto the very small "ledge" in the innermost part of the circular base (you can see it from 7:02-7:04, the rightmost part of the screen). The Alpha Ceph's drill never touches that area, so whenever my nanosuit gives me a warning, I just sprint as fast as I can to that inner ledge. Also, really helps to tag the Ceph superchargers before the battle, so you can run to those and supercharge your nanosuit, giving you temporary invincibility and unlimited Ceph ammo, which really helps especially when you're getting overwhelmed by the enemies that the Alpha Ceph spawns. Btw, the PC hardware requirements really aren't that bad if you game at 1080p and don't go nuts with AA. My GTX 780M SLI laptop (yes, LAPTOP) can run this on Ultra at 1080p with 2x MSAA, and I average 50-60 FPS depending on the level and how much action is going on. A laptop GTX 780M is equivalent to a desktop GTX 580.
There is no human left, there an AI copy running on the nano machines or the suit. There is no meat under the armor, just a swarm of machines that can take any form including a human.
Supercharge your suit with the red power cores. When u hop down on lower level resupply ammo and hang close to the wall and crouch down during onslaughts. Keep fighting and you will mind meld with it 2 or 3 times and kill it. Then you shoot a giant laser and save the world. Running in circles is pointless he does NOT get tired. The pak morter, and gas rifle seem to kill it fastest. Use the other weapons and ammo to defeat the smaller aliens. You will always move slower with ceph weapons equipped.
What will the crysis 4 be about there is no plot left aliens agains? a secret organization? Boring if you ask me but i would love to see prophet one more time.
at the end in cutscene i heard..... his suit's nanites are set free he can take any shape.......and clearly you can see his face at the end had nanites and he goes cloak mode at end ...it means the suit has became the part of body and outer layer can take any shape.

everyone is confuse at the ending, i'll explain: Prophet's nano suit change whatever it wants because from all the energy the suit absorb during the fight between Prophet and the Alpha Celph . The suit changes to Prophet because in crysis 2, the Nano suit took a small portion of his memory and that's the only memory the Nano suit have come up with. Alcatraz is not dead, but he is sort of dead, in Crysis 2 it explain that his lungs was gone due to the explosion in the beginning. He can't talk.
Brad, i did a check for the kind of card it would take to run this game optimally on my computer which is a desktop and that card is a Geforce GTX 680. This card goes for about $600.00. Don't think that is going to happen for me anytime soon. thanks for uploading the game and i would still love for you to finish your play through of Crysis 2, maybe you could do it if you have any spare time, what i love more than the games you play is your commentary cause you are just golden man. thanks
I have played it at post-human difficulty and it wasn't such a difficulty at all, Of course I was stuck for a few times but I am a good player, annyway I recomand this game for all of you and of course at the highet difficulty and highest gtaphics settings , it will be so fun. Great job dude..I know this is kinda old now but, I'm on the last level of this great game. I took your advice and waited until the price dropped. My only tidbit complaint is for guys to master the game (any game) before uploading a video on it. Have you done Max Payne 3?
He did. You even see it in the video. Thing is, his mind was stored in the suit. Alcatraz was pretty much dead and didn't have the protection suit between the nanosuit and his skin, so the nanosuit fused with him. Throughout C2 the suit is getting deeper and deeper, and the flashbacks are proof of this. By the end of the game, Prophet's mind was completely "re-installed", giving us what we have here.
I love this game and also love all the series. The one grudge I have with 3 is, its very glitchy (PC) but, that still doesn't stop me playing it. Awesome game and graphics. 9/10 because of glitch or it would have been 10/10

There is another cutscene at the end of the credits that show what happened to Psycho. As for Prophet's suit, the nanosuit burned up and changed it's outer layer as to resemble Laurence Barnes.
No, in Crysis 2 Prophet died, put Alcatraz in the suit, then Prophet took over at the end. And his name was Laurence Barnes before he put on the suit, but he took on Prophet as his name after Crysis 1.

I love how Brad doesn't do the most satisfying thing in the whole series that only exists after you unlock the nanites in this game... SUPERCHARGE THE SUIT!!! That's basically the sole purpose of the whole mission, to show you what the suit is capable of... But at the same time I take of my hat off to you sir, I thought beating that mission without supercharging the suit is impossible until now...
i think it's because the nanites in his suit is free, so they can transform into anything he imagines. So if he imagines to be his previous self, the suit can make it happen
Let me explain. Alcatraz had been deadly wounded, the only thing keeping him alive was the suit. Prophet shot himself because he was about to be assimilated by the Ceph. He had to break the link to the suit. At the end of Crisis 2, Alcatraz dies because of brain damage. Then, when his mind was useless, the suit uploaded Prophet's mind into Alcatraz. That's why he said "They call me Prophet." Now, Prophet had the suit back, but it had some Ceph DNA in it. He was struggling to resist the Ceph.
People it's is still Alkatraz but the memories of Prophet were in the suit and so was his DNA. It merged with Alkatraz's memory and "turned" him into Prophet.

In the graphic novels, Nomad dies as he took a rocket for Prophet (or someone else not too sure). Point is, Nomad is dead.

the nanites as you recall can move freely. So the suit basically made a shell of what prophet used to look like. He is still in the suit

He did. You even see it in the video. Thing is, his mind was stored in the suit. Alcatraz was pretty much dead and didn't have the protection suit between the nanosuit and his skin, so the nanosuit fused with him. Throughout C2 the suit is getting deeper and deeper, and the flashbacks are proof of this. By the end of the game, Prophet's mind was completely "re-installed", giving us what we have here.
I love this game and also love all the series. The one grudge I have with 3 is, its very glitchy (PC) but, that still doesn't stop me playing it. Awesome game and graphics. 9/10 because of glitch or it would have been 10/10
Great series, Brad. But one question: Are you planning on doing the Telltale Back To The Future game? Your Walking Dead series was by far one of my favorites along with Trials. There is another cutscene at the end of the credits that show what happened to Psycho. As for Prophet's suit, the nanosuit burned up and changed it's outer layer as to resemble Laurence Barnes.
No, in Crysis 2 Prophet died, put Alcatraz in the suit, then Prophet took over at the end. And his name was Laurence Barnes before he put on the suit, but he took on Prophet as his name after Crysis 1.

Supercharge your suit with the red power cores. When u hop down on lower level resupply ammo and hang close to the wall and crouch down during onslaughts. Keep fighting and you will mind meld with it 2 or 3 times and kill it. Then you shoot a giant laser and save the world.

I love how Brad doesn't do the most satisfying thing in the whole series that only exists after you unlock the nanites in this game...
SUPERCHARGE THE SUIT!!! That's basically the sole purpose of the whole mission, to show you what the suit is capable of... But at the same time I take of my hat off to you sir, I thought beating that mission without supercharging the suit is impossible until now...

i think it's because the nanites in his suit is free, so they can transform into anything he imagines. So if he imagines to be his previous self, the suit can make it happen
using the ceph battery supercharges the nanosuit and makes you impervious to damage. it makes the fight alot easier

Ending beach scene was where the first combat scene took place in Crysis 1. Great ending.
Let me explain. Alcatraz had been deadly wounded, the only thing keeping him alive was the suit. Prophet shot himself because he was about to be assimilated by the Ceph. He had to break the link to the suit. At the end of Crisis 2, Alcatraz dies because of brain damage. Then, when his mind was useless, the suit uploaded Prophet's mind into Alcatraz. That's why he said "They call me Prophet."
Now, Prophet had the suit back, but it had some Ceph DNA in it. He was struggling to resist the Ceph.
Not sure you caught it at the end, but the island is where it all started in the first Crysis.

People it's is still Alkatraz but the memories of Prophet were in the suit and so was his DNA. It merged with Alkatraz's memory and "turned" him into Prophet.
