Yes it’s turned out to be a fantastic car, amazing what a little time and effort can do to a cheap car. Well happy with the tyres transformed the car. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
There is so much satisfaction in getting a cheap car and bringing it up to spec. I'm currently doing this with a 2010 X Trail that was going to be scrapped because it had loads of small faults.
Yes exactly very satisfying, is that the newer shape XTrail? If so they share the same rear suspension / front subframe as the Qashqui that rust badly, so make sure to get them coated and cavity wax sealed 👍🏼
Recently subscribed and already learned some useful tips. I had all door cards off on my 2006 jazz this time last year. Had water leaking rear footwells was a real pain as ive no garage. But i solved the problem similar but i also put a smaller diameter secondary seal round the doors and made some extra drainage holes in the old seals. This finally solved the problem. Now when i open the rear doors after heavy rains the water runs out the drain holes in the old rubber seals. Then i just wipe them down. I paid too much for the car but plusses she is solid underneath no rust and had her wax oiled. Shes had new front shocks and top mounts and a new cv boot for the last mot in sept. 118k miles drives lovely 1339cc idsi engine.
Yes had a few leaks on the jazz, also check the seam seal joints in the roof to the body where you open the boot common place to leak. Yes long as they are solid cracking cars those Jazz. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Lovely car Dan definitely deserves to be a keeper. The work you’ve done will future proof it for a good while. Winter tyres were definitely a bargain.

@@CarAddictGarageNE Thanks. Will get some.
Awesome car. Wish I’d snapped it up
I’m just so pleased I got the chance to save it, as the guy said was many delivery drivers enquiring about it, would have just trashed it
@@CarAddictGarageNE DW10
Is probably the last of Peugeots good diesel engine.
Yep noting good happened after the DW10 all very poor with too much emissions equipment
they used this hdi engine in the ford s max and mondeo mk4 believe it or not
Yes the DW10 was used in just about all the Ford Diesel range and Volvos , even the Galaxy
@@CarAddictGarageNEaye but not the mk3 mondeo/Jaguar x type/transit/defender/ldv/Peugeot boxer as that was fords own engine
