I have the Mk 3 face lift 2010 2.2 Idtec Executive comes with all the bells and whistles ,I have had it 6 years now second owner .I service it yearly at 8000 miles .You need to change the fuel filter regularly as she stopped dead one day coming home and turned out it was the fuel filter no warning.I have also just serviced there past new power steering fluid flush and rear axle flush the way you recommended it on the lift.It has 212000 miles and drives like new .Everything works including all the gadgets.Solid built quality car .Was thinking of upgrading to the a 2015 ex 1.6 idtec 4x 4 only reason was down to the economy.After seeing this I am having second thoughts ,I actually like my Mk 3 and I have towed far more than 2 ton and not a bother to it.Keep up the videos

Do you have instructions/video on how to cut the wires and put a connector on? Complete non-mechanic here, should i get an auto-electrician to do this? Do i need ramps etc?

I hv used mk3 and have mk4 currently, and as u rightly mentioned, the mk3 wins hands down... The quality, fit n finish and of course the design, mk3 was way better, for e.g. the grab handles, the steering buttons, loads of space around front seats, higher recline angle of back seats, two compartments in the boot, and lastly the airy space on the right side of driver seat, i miss them in my current mk4... Though one good thing mk4 has, is the dashboard console analog clock. 😊

'Bi-directional xenons' were mentioned unless I miss heard. Is there such a thing? I've heard of Bi Xenons.

I think they're both good in theire own way but I prefer leather to cloth seats cos their easier to clean a friend of mine had a Ghia x very nice car and the 406 looks nicer than some of the modern peugeots but it's up to yourself longs they're well looked after and the 406 is very rare now

Hi Dan. Another Dilemma you have got yourself into. On a Practical Note.The Peugeot is the one too keep. It fills all your needs. The Ford is slightly higher at the rear end. A little too high to ask the. Elder Dog to hop into. I know it's your choice on which way to to jump. But The Pug (for me) is they way to go. Try and sell the ford to a local person. So you may be able to see it now and again. 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂. Cheers .

Mk4 1.6 is £35 to tax compared to £305. It also does 60mpg as opposed to 42 and is cheaper to insure. Both have dpfs which I hate. Mk4 got a proper handbrake at last

Is this the 110hp engine? My mother hsd a 1.6rsi which was in the era of rhd hew imports. Half leathet, body kit like the 172 but small 14" alloys for some reason always looked too small. I inherited it and sadly wrote it off shortky after.

Have a small issue with my Astra J after an Engine Jet wash at a servicing centre. Went in without any issues. Came out with engine check light on with error code P102 - Mass Airflow sensor low frequency. Any ideas? Changed the Mass Airflow vendor but same issue. Doesn't seem like its an issue with the airflow sensor and servicing centre is denying they caused issue and asking for charges to fix. Taking it to an approved Vauxhall repair centre next but thought I'd ask if you have any ideas.

Just a tip. A cabin in the bows is just about the worst place to be in rough weather. Best place to be is low down and centre of the ship.

Finally watched this one. The camera seems great tbh. Can't believe the egr delete is just a golf tees as plugs haha. Hope the airfield meets goes ahead one day 👍🏻
