The DAKA GRID Organizer from Magpul is a customizable storage solution for your gear. It utilizes Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) panels and GRID Blocks that can be easily arranged to securely hold and protect your equipment in a hard case.

I know this is a little off topic, but Lego is also the largest producer of car tires in the world. I have a PHD in useless knowledge, so thought I’d share. @@TexPhillyP To be more specific; they're listed as the largest producer of _toy_ car tires. However, of course making 300 million tiny rubber tires a year, if you just generalized tires all together, they would hold the record for the single company to make the most tires. There are over 330 million vehicle tires made a year in the US, however, that number is distributed through a large number of different tire manufacturers.

@@davidsherrill9121 Pelican isn't what it used to be either. In fact, they no longer lifetime warranty all their products--and I learned that the hard way. Cheaper doesn't always translate to poorer quality, but I find the price to be enticing and competitive with the foam insert non lifetime warranty Pelican products of the same tier. Time will tell.......✊️
The problem is…. The daka case is just as expensive as a pelican.
Pretty much everything Magpul puts out is well thought out, innovative, and usually comes in at a reasonable price point. That's why they continue to have my business all these years later. Good stuff guys!
I’m definitely digging in the latch system🙂 a lot better than those Daniel defense cases that have like 72 latches.
This case is rock solid (like other Pelican cases). ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3jMFPw9QX_Iu4DNcjW-t9AZ4_iNhJzhE I paired it with the Master Lock 140T set of padlocks. The US Airways ticket agent that checked the case was impressed by how completely the latches were secured. The case has layers of removable foam cubes that can be easily adapted to the contents of the case and keep everything secure. After declaring its contents to the ticket agent, I was allowed to put this case in other checked luggage. Due to its size and black color, this helped insure that it wasn't misplaced by a baggage handler. TSA was (apparently) happy with the packaging as well. If you plan on flying with more than one of the main items, I would recommend buying a larger Pelican case and just transport the case as another piece of checked luggage.

I remember seeing this case at Shot and thinking there is a lot of wasted space in there... the latch system was superb. If i had a really pricey gun and wanted a case just for that rifle, this would be a good case.

That price he quoted was just for the insert, not including the case. It’s more like $300-350 for the case and interior depending on size

Best thing about a case like this, if you like to play around with different furniture and accessories (and who doesn't) you can move add or remove a block to make it fit. More than once after a session at the bench my rifle didn't fit the case when I wanted to take it in the field for some Daka Daka. Brilliant! Thanks again Colion for your dedication to our cause.

Magpul coming in clutch again. I paid nearly 300 bucks for a case that I've hated 1 thing or another about since the day I brought it home. Not to mention all the wasted time re- zeroing optics. For 300 bucks I'll be glad to replace it. And I would have gladly paid much much more for a case of its caliber

As a guy who was literally cutting foam in his pelican vault case for a trip to Eagle pass TX tomorrow I approve this much easier way
Pretty sweet concept. My Pelican holds firearms and mags well but this is pretty sweet.
Need big wheels on the sides like an appliance dolly. I'm tired of carrying heavy ass cases to and from my shooting spot. I have to walk a couple acres to get to my spot and a couple big wheels would be so awesome on that case

I'm going to put this out for maybe Magpul to ponder. Maybe do a smaller case than the smallest one I saw possibly a 10"x 15" x 20" or so as either a pistol, pdw or equipment case. The latter is what I'd want one for. A truly customizable case so I don't have a spitting scope, range tools and cleaning gear slip sliding around.
Just a thought to toss out there.

I like my Case Club cases because they come with the closed cell foam. Not that pluck crap that ends up deteriorating over time. Like you said though, once you cut the foam, that's it. I may have to check one of these out. Thanks for the heads up, Colion.

Yes ! A needed product.
I use tag board over insulation foam board and wooden dowels to achieve the same effect, after outlining the gun with dowels, I place another piece of tag board over top followed by another piece of foam board. Hope this helps some of you other DIY guys.
That's what's up 130.00 I put about two rifles in with the mags or pistol that's definitely a game-changer don't have to deal with the foam and stuff thank you for sharing that I'm going to have to look into putting it on my goody list . And keep up the good work by spreading the word on the braces and up-to-date gun laws that they're trying to pull
We the people holsters are a mid to low grade kydex holsters with less than stellar fit and finish. If you carry daily, check out Vedder or t-rex arms. If you need a good trigger guard basically for home guns or for transport other than on your person, we the people are good for that at their lower price point.
That's a really cool product, and competitively priced. I'm surprised this is the only review I've seen of it. It was fun seeing Colion on Demolition Ranch posing for pictures with Matt. You guys should do a full video together.

It’d be so cool if they made it very inexpensive for local FFL’s to set up a “case builder” cubicle so that we could bring our gun(s) in and with some trial and error get the perfect fit in just a few minutes without wasting a bunch of time and money with trial-n-error ordering this system online.. it’d also be hugely helpful when trying to fit two rifles. Plus, they need to add standard pistol inserts (all-purpose vertical slots, or form-fitted horizontal for specific models) for a real nice pistol/rifle combo case.
Bring a case or pick a case, select the pieces needed, buy and leave.
I have 4 DAKA cases but for my pistol and muzzleloader. I use it to hold my cleaning kits also.
150 bucks all spent is actually not to bad for a completely modular system that can fit in many different types of cases. Pretty dope!

Thanks to videos like yours I bought this for my Pelican V800. I used it this weekend and it worked great with my FN Scar 20S NRCH, FN Scar 15p, and my FN PS90 SBR. This makes it easy to carry all of them easily.

I like my rifles and guns having their own personal case with the cutouts. I guess this would suit the needs of some people out there who hump guns a lot for travel , not just storage .

Funny enough, other people have shot videos on this and to my surprise, a lot of people hated on it. I don't see what's not to like. Get one case and have the ability to carry multiple types of firearms without buying specific foam cuts for them and it's sturdy. Your pelican case with the foam is going to ring you far more than what Magpul is asking for.

For clarification the $150 is just for the drop-in block kit for a Pelican case. The whole case is ~$350 depending on size.
