I watched Mr Williams as a child with my mum in the early 70’s…I didn’t realise how brilliant he was. The style, the interpretation…the quality of his voice…I can only say..’Incredible’. Thank you Andy,for making our lives more enriched.
I was a child too, parents has his record album, with Moon River, knew as such an early age, his vocal special, and still he remains among that era of crooners, the best of them all to me!!

I’ve heard some great renditions of this wonderful song but I think this must be the best. The two girls in the audience with their mouths open, awestruck, sums up Andy’s delivery, by turns tender and powerful. Mesmerising…..
I wonder why he cut it so short when most of the other versions I've heard and I've heard about 30 or 40 of them they will go through it twice or maybe three times so you can have two or three more experiences of the climax instead of just one

Wonderful cover but the original performance, by Herb Alpert, was startlingly impressive as he was a trumpet player, not a singer.
