I like the custom shaped top dash pad above the speedo cluster, most unique thing about this car.

The wheels give it away, they look shocking. Needs to be 18's at the biggest, would look less tippy.

Very nice.. was good to see something a little bit different besides the usual vl turbo. Blown 6.0L in a vl would be very fun to drive..
I loved this build tuff streeter
This car hammers. Extra cred for it being a manual. It's interesting that more and more people seem to be LS swapping the VLs instead of developing the RB30ET or the Holden 5L. Being a trainspotter, I suspect that this example is not an original Calais since there are no headrests in the rear and the courtesy lights that the Calais models had above the C pillar window are missing as well. That said, kudos for the 'sympathetic' restoration and for not being tempted to take it down the 'sex spec' route.
Definitely a clean build this
I used to hoon up and down that very stretch of roan back in the day. Then they changed it all and wasn't any funafter that. I work not far from there..The Break Wall it was(is) called.

Exactly what i needed to clear my head after a review of a ughhhhhhhh Magna ,3.5 litres of screaming V6 with a bodykit straight from Auto Salon ,who the fk goes into a new Mitsubishi dealership and shells out money on that when theres a VT with an option of a 5litre or the new LS1 RIGHT NEXT DOOR AT A hOLDEN DEALERSHIP

Great review of the VL. It sure sounds good with the supercharger fitted. I like that the owner has kept it mostly factory looking. I would be interested to see what 0-100km it would get if it would get traction straight way. Would be hard with that amount of power. You would have a lot of fun driving this car. Especially being a manual.
