Hello. So I want to do this to my mavic air 2. Since the factory battery specs are different than that of the Mini, can I use the same ones you did? Can I use 4 of the lipo cell batteries at 3,830 mAh? Or should I be using a different rated set of batteries since my original battery specifications are different from the mini you did this on? Wonderful video!

i has mod the drone battery with KDEST 50A 3100mAh but when it flying with drone the indicator of battery from 4 bar dropped into 1 bar only in 1 minutes, what's wrong by the way?

I was thinking about doing a mod of mini 1 battery to use with mini 2. The question is - do you need to flash the battery chip for it to use all capacity of new bigger cells? I would think the battery "smart chip" will prevent you to drain more amps than it thinks the battery have, or it's just relying on voltage to monitor charge status and you can use any capacity you want?
As I have told on the clip and what I did, the most important that is maintain the parallel power supply when replace the original cell to prevent from locking. The capacity as much as you can and the weight as less as you can, just need same voltage and same or higher discharge rate for cell safety

Yes, i do understand the chip have to be under voltage or it will lock and then you will have to flash it to recover, and that require some controller and special software. What i was wandering about, i have seen people commenting that even after mod battery seems to know it's old original capacity and would not let you use full capacity like it would tell the battery is 0% even when the voltage is 3.8v
I was thinking to change the original 18650 to high capacity like panasonic 3400. But then again in your test you tried samsung 3300 was it? And it only added about 3-4 minutes to max flight time so i am not even sure i want to do it at all. I want to preserve original formfactor without batteties attached outside the body of the drone. So i dunno may be its worth it just to buy some more batteries...

I have follow question I use the Mavic 2 and is it possible to increase the flight time with modify batterie. I mean change to 3500mAh with 7.2 Volt.
Can you create this batterie for me including loading with standard charger of DJI Mini 2 shoult be afterwards also possible.

Yes, with the same principal it's absolutely possible however you pay attention which I have told in the video, try to not be locked. Last once thanks for your request but I just make tutorial I do not supply this service
So, mavic mini battery can get locked when remove the cell, how to remove the cell without locking the circuit? By parallel it with other lipo 2s battery?

With Mavic Mini that is 20A as I have told in the video, other drone can be different, and to calculate how many "C" it will belong to the cell capacity, the formula I have told in the video as well. Success to you

3800mAh 15.2V 75.76wH, need find the correct li-po cell replacement.
@@creativ3studio All lipo cells are 3.7 nominal, 4.2 max charge. 15.2 is 4s. SO you need a 4s lipo. Come on guy its not rocket science
