Audi Q3 Sportback 40 TDI quattro S tronic - A Diesel? Oh no! Oh wait, yes!

When I produced the report on the rivers in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Audi e-tron could not be delivered in time. I still needed some interviews and recordings and I also wanted to finish the feature I had started with an e-tron. After all, it was all about sustainability.
So an Audi was organised for me directly on location in Sarajevo. It was a Diesel! I was not enthusiastic at first, as I try to avoid fossil fuels.
And then I met the new Audi Q3 Sportback 40 TDI quattro S tronic S line+ in the colour Tau Silver metallic! Yes, it was love at first sight.
In combination with Ad Blue it is sustainable and the fuel consumption is unbeatable! On the country roads of Bosnia-Herzegovina, it needed an average of 5.7 litres per 100 kilometres!
It is also so quiet that we were often asked if this was also an electric vehicle, like our previous ones.
Which is why this small SUV is certainly one of the unbeatables for a road trip in the Balkans: Drive Select Offroad! And yes, it has mastered all off-road hurdles in the Dinaric mountains!
