I honestly think if we keep Rodri on the pitch we win that game comfortably 3-0 maybe more, we were so dominant. Sadly we are very reliant on Rodri so in his absence they took advantage of a couple of sloppy moments, questionable moments, there was a foul on Ederson and the ref was speaking to Walker our captain so to allow the quick free kick when he wasn't set. That being said in the end Arsenal couldn't get it over the line again and we dealt them a late psychological blow. I'll take that point, early season we are still building. Great vlog Cheesy 👍💙
The ref really was awful today. Havertz should have been booked in the first second of the match. Calling our captain to him and then allowing a quick free kick from the wrong spot with Walker trying to get back
I don’t normally agree with Harland but he was 100% spot on there… arsenals tactics were embarrassing, expect it at 2-1 with 10 men but they were doing it from the start - glad Arteta hasn’t learnt from his mistakes last season - titles are won by playing to win rather than not loosing Also had imposter Arsenal fans in the home end in the family stand - club needs to sort this out as it happening with alarming frequency
Good point in the end Ian but their first goal should not have stood, Walker should have been allowed to, A relay to some teammates what he had called 40yds to tell him and B get back fully in position. Plus at every corner Arsenal make two players run in and deliberately block the goalie, obstruction and with no attempt to play the ball. Brilliant goal from Erling and Stonesy's at the end was justice. Thanks Ian it's great to be a blue.
@@watsonakanowt That was the most bizarre coaching I have ever seen. Walker, Akanji and Dias playing the KDB role, while Gundogan and Bernardo stand in the box. Walker was crap, but I don't blame him or Dias for having the long shots. What else were they supposed to do when the actual midfielders didn't drop back to help?
That was an excellent open, Cheesy! God, that passion is absolutely magnificent. To be fair, I think Arsenal's reputation for time wasting influenced the league office before the match, who then influenced poor Michael Oliver, all of which contributing to three of the four goals scored. Trussard's red is a direct result of the Gunner's wanton time wasting during the Arteta Era. Similarly, Oliver letting play begin before Walker was back in position was also about the referee not wanting time to escape off the clock. I have a distinct feeling that Rodi being down on the pitch for so much of the early match probably influenced the ref to get the game going again least he be criticized by the wags in the league office. Finally, obviously the game extending so far into stoppage time, allowing City to record the equalizer, was as a result of Arsenal, especially Raya, flopping and rolling about on the pitch, praying that less time on the clock would win them the day. Usually I hate time wasting . . . But I don't know, Cheesy. The drama leading up to the 97th minute, Stone's moment as savior, and the bedlam that resulted before and after the final whistle was so effin' entertaining. Arsenal played a dirty...desperate game...and assaulted our players. They used all the dirty tactics by hook or by crook...Kicking the shit out of our players...Arguing...The Ref distracting Walker so we got caught out for the 1st goal. Arsenal players, falling down late-on and wearing the clock down...That draw at home today was a win for us...To still come out without a loss, then a draw to me is a win today, we're still top...and rightly so...
Sorry we didn't play the way YOU wanted with 10 men lol. Couldn't beat 10 men lads. That was a proper title challenging game. Great game. Nice vlog mate!
What were you expecting them to do with ten men. Were you expecting them to open up, so you score 5 and say they are a weak team. For me City were the ones who didn't take advantage of their numeric advantage. Pep should have taken out two defenders and focused on bringing in more attacking players

Well the ghost of Arsenal under Arsène Whinger came back to haunt the Etihad stadium in the shape of his protégé Moaning Arteta this evening. The time wasting, rolling around as if nuked, the nailed on targeting of City's most dangerous players. Everything out of the Wenger how to win by cheating if possible. Let's not forget though that without the cooperation of one of the better referees in the premier league, and one who we all know, knows better. then this game and the point available would not have been lost by City the far far better footballing side on the day. In my opinion by the way. Oliver absolutely and undeniably played for Arsenal in this game. the cleverly designed attacks on Rodri one in the penalty area. Then the brilliant defending of Arsenal strengthened by the Referee's calls to ignore the Arsenal keeper who kept lying down on the ball for a minute every time he made a save. Although their keeper did play and saved them on at least 4 or 5 occasions. Still the referee should have controlled to his normal standards. Same with all the fake cramp by the Arsenal players, clearly Oliver with all his experience has never noticed before that desperate players go down as if injured when trying to break up play, get a breather and stop domination. Apparently Oliver has never witnessed teams do this before and doesn't know how to deal with it. Well his lack of action against it certainly suggest that. For me the Trossard attack on Bernardo Silva was enough to be a second yellow card, but even the correct red was apparently put down to the kicking away of the ball by the Arsenal man. Clearly in his black Arsenal kit the Ref (under the weather with gross incompetent) had to even out the City dominance, play wise and passing wise too. But who or what then arrived on playing surface? First justice and our own Johnny Johnny Stones, and to wonderfully break the hearts of those playing against City today, Arsenal and their officials.
