the sutures are removed or dissolve soon after the procedure is performed, but the skin edges are healed together. The edges must be cut open for the foal to pass without trauma!
Since the way horses are orientated this is performed on mares that have had changes in their “shape” to keep feces from constantly being introduced to the inside of the canal ... the poo and it runs down there and if it is misshaped it runs inside and that causes infections like uti’s and could make jet really sick if nothing were done
This is to keep excrement from entering her birth canal and causing infection, I mean left unchecked it could have killed her so not really our benefit but her benefit

@@ealaibracket1 It really would not. Suboptimal conformation of the vulva could result in endometritis sure but by no means does that result in the death of the horse. It might also cause what is called pneumovagina where air gets sucked into the vagina.
😬😬😬 yikes i hope nobody ever does this to me

The stitches are removed after a while.

hi,what type of suture did you use
do the stitches disolve prior to the birth of the foal or does there have to be a removal close to expected birth of the foal? ...

Why do we perform a caslick on a mare?

What kind of thirds you utilized here?
Why pregnant in first place?:s
Перед свадьбой что ли ??? 😂😂😂😂
Hallo can You make a Rectal palpation Video and a artificial insemination Video?
How is the male horse going to mate with this female horse
From what I've gathered, she's already pregnant. This is done to keep excrement out of her birth canal to prevent infection
It is so disgusting, what we do to other animals for our own benefit.

This mare would have died in the wild. It would have been a slow death caused by infection so I don't see how this "our" fault as humans.
Get out of here troll
