Both the AE85 and AE86 were available with fixed (Levin) or pop-up headlights (Sprinter Trueno). If you watched the show, Wataru has an AE86 with fixed headlights (so it would be an AE86 Corolla Levin).
Wataru battles always went hard. Never finished in one single round. He’s one of the best characters in the series imo.
I agree with you, Wataru is a stamina and endurance specialist that cannot be underestimated by anyone.
Another thing to is that he eventually does go into the professional leagues after initial d

Just imagine how the race would’ve turned out if it hadn’t rained
The Levin sounds like a hellcat with that new 4A-GZE supercharged engine
Yes but still have turbo boost gauge 😂😂

How so? Boost gauges monitor boost pressure, doesn't have to be from a turbo

0:00 - 0:37 best intro ever
underrated song. most fire song at the beginning of the race
It's a shame Wataru's 86 couldn't appear more
Wataru’s 86 appears again in 5th Stage, Act 1
@@iC0ll3ct0 for a mere second
@@theguythatplaysrallyfuryat it also appeared on the final ep, if im not wrong
fr its one of the sickest builds in the entire series. I think its cooler than Takumi's.
fr why didnt he appear to give some 86 specific commentary during the last race
The score for this race is, in my opinion, one of the best in the series.
