I think J Dub is gonna make it
Dig your team a ton but I think I’ll go this route. Guards will be tough. Booker can play anything 1-3 so feels like perfect bench guy but I like nod at PG too.
Starters:
PG - Tyrese Halliburton
SG - Ant Edwards
SF - Jayson Tatum
PF - Paolo Banchero
C - Bam Adebayo
Reserves:
Guards - Devin Booker, Ja Morant, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey
F/C - Jalen Williams, Scottie Barnes, Chet Holmgren
Fringe - Jaylen Brown, Donovan Mitchell, Cooper Flagg, Jalen Suggs, Zion, Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Herb Jones
Was wondering where Bam was in the Pool. Love how he suddenly appeared halfway haha
Mikal Bridges and Herb Jones being fringe guys overJDub and Scottie is one of the worst things I've ever seen
As a Belgian,about Ingram,if it's your first tournament with fiba rules,you need some adjustment time like Ant had this olympics
Ingram doesn't make la but just to clarify this
If this team needs Defense they just need to get Jaden McDaniels
They [lost] KD, we [get] Jaden McDaniels.
Herb Jones would be better in that role.
Amen doesn’t really need to have a great offensive game to be on the team. They need a Jrue Holiday replacement. Thompson will be a valuable asset on defense and can play make. Here’s my 2028 roster:
Haliburton, Maxey, Thompson
Ant, Book
Tatum, Hart*
Flagg, Paolo
Chet, AD*, Bam
*AD has stated that he may want to join the 2028 team. If that is true, he’ll be an obvious pick. If he doesn’t play, then we’ll have to get probably either JJJ or maybe Evan Mobley.
KD has also mentioned that he would be open to 2028. He obviously has an open invitation. If he doesn’t play, I elect Josh Hart to be a do it all role player. Like Derrick White. Josh Hart showed he can excel in this role (as well as he an excellent rebounder) in these last playoffs.
The one thing I can tell from looking at that roster is that we will not be winning the gold in 2028 even if it's here in the US. I think will be in the mix but there are other teams that seem to have a better future on the horizon. On top of that it's four more years for these other teams to play a lot more basketball with each other than we ever do. I'm not even sure that we're going to go into that Olympics as the favorite.
Ngl JDub is going to be infinitely better than Mikal
5 :
Ja Morant
Anthony Edwards
Jayson Tatum
Paulo Banchero
Chet Holmgren
Bench :
Haliburton
Devin Booker
Cooper Flagg
Zion Williamson
Anthony Davis
Jalen Suggs
Dereck Lively
@@ranyzaoui4314
LeBron James
Stephen Curry
Kevin Durant
Paul George
Devin Booker
Klay Thompson
Anthony Davis
Karl Towns
Paolo Banchero
Jaylen Brown
Jayson Tatum
Anthony Edwards
And head coach will be Quin Snyder.
21 year old Cooper Flagg makes it over 26 year old Scottie Barnes? Because of defensive versatility, playmaking, and 3pt shooting?
This guy is special ed
The cooper flag glaze before he even plays a college game is actually crazy.
Saying Aj isn’t ready talent wise but Coop is crazy bias lol. AJ is him with Cooper
I think you did a Great job. I can't argue with a single pick.
Booker was not a bench player in the Olympics. Never came off the bench, always started. Did you watch a single game? Defensive liability for Hali? Did you really watch anything?
My team:
Starters:
PG - Hali
SG - Ant
SF - JT
PF - Banchero
C - Chet
Bench:
Ja, Booker, Jaylen Brown, Cooper, Zion, Bam, Mobley.
Yes he did come off the bench 2 out of 5 games did you watch the games? I was wrong with “bench player” but you’re even more wrong for saying he never came off the bench. I’m convinced you didn’t watch the games at all so please stop being a casual
@@Sros1Chill😂😂😂😂
The world bigs will feast against banchero and skinny chet
@@MrE_ you mean skinny Wemby? This is four years from, projecting for Chet to bulk up. Giannis was skinny his rookie year.
@@Sros1 I have watched all of the games, even the games that are not of Team USA. And I vividly remember Booker starting all games. I went out of my freaking way to research and found out that I am correct, he started all three games in the group rounds, started in the quarter finals, semis, and finals. That’s 6 games in total by the way, not 5 games. So you’re wrong again. You are a fvcking basketball RUclipsr, but you don’t know who started in games you’re supposed to watch. And you have the nerve to call your viewers casuals, when its you who doesn’t watch games (pretty sure you watch highlights only) and can’t even use the internet to fvcking research to make sure you don’t give the wrong information. HOLY SH**!!!! I thought you were a bad RUclipsr but I did not realize you were worse. So before replying to any comments, breathe, don’t resort to rage commenting, and RESEARCH! This is your job. Jeeeeez! Don’t bother deleting your comment, took a screenshot already of how you tried to embarrass me when in reality, you embarrassed yourself. My original comment was in frustration of you make a living off something you’re not even knowledgable about. I enjoy watching basketball videos, podcast, etc. So you know where my frustration is coming from when I see a “RUclipsr” not knowing what he’s talking about.
I really enjoy watching scottie barns play and he also seems like a genuine guy. Tyrese Haliburton on top though!
appreciate the video.. the only person i HARD disagree with (even though i love him) is ZION....hes not even a contention player in my opinion.... the reason i dont think zion would even come close to making the team is because hes a DRIVE the paint player with almost no outside shooting (so he doesn't spread the court very well) and in international play there is no 3 second rule... there for his game just does not transition to the Olympics... unless he some how gets a wildly good shot in the next 4 years. .
chet not being a starter is insane. who is guarding wemby?
Yep thts definitely da team But I definitely see Suggs and Brown on dere to
Pg- Ja /brunson /lamelo
Sg- Ant /booker/suggs
Sf- Jalen Willams/flagg/ Josh hart
Pf - banchero /chet
C- A.D /bam
Hear me out Josh hart would be a good fit
Jalen green is a wild card
I forgot bout b miller
MPJ could be a massive weapon in FIBA.
Scottie is definitely making it
I believe D’Aron Fox, Ja Morant and/or Trae Young will be on the roster. Trae is needed for his 3 pt ability most.
With the international rim rules, we need Chet on the team.
Where’s buzelis I think he has 30 ppg potential
Wouldn’t be surprised at all if Scottie is starting in 2028
Im shocked he doesn’t have Paolo Banchero in this vid, seems like an oversight.
Also Brunsons foul baiting won’t work in fiba
Not even mentioning Jalen Johnson is crazy
Not better than anyone on the list
lol he’s not gone be that good 😂
Your crazy
@@xJqordan You ignant! Last yr was the 1st time he got a chance, & already was an efficient playmaker for himself & teammates, while playing good d & rebounding. Versatile. Great athlete. Intriguing player.
@@bernman23 Not good enough for USA basketball though.
Book wasn’t a bench player for Team USA 😌
I think if you're including herb and bridges you have to consider the other good defensive wings like hart and mcdaniels
Suggs over Ja and Brunson is crazy
Not really considering white was over Kyrie and Brunson this year lol
@@rylanwarner8164 Well do you really agree with that? Do you really think that White is better than Brunson
@@BlueiayYT believe it or not when you’re building a team player fit actually matters. This team didn’t need Brunson
Is does suck, that 4 of my Cavs are even being considered, let alone making it. And we can’t make any noise in the playoffs. Maybe with this outlook, I’ll experience another parade in the 216 in the next 4 years
God I wish we could’ve seen peak athleticism Zion in the Olympics, but I don’t think he’ll have quite the same bounce by 2028.
Maxey isn't getting cut tf 😂hes finna be a top 5 combo guard and walking 28 6 and 7
JDub will be too good by then to not make the team imo
Last 48 games regular season-
JDub- 31mpg…. 20.1ppg 4reb 4.9ast 1.2stl .8blk 1.7TO 55.8/45.5/77.9 👀 splits and +301
Mikal- 35.4mpg… 18.7ppg 4reb 3.6ast 1.1stl .3blk 1.8TO 42.1/37.7/79.3 splits and -144

He’s kind of perfect because he can fill a lot of different positions seamlessly whether it’s off ball or on ball and he can defend on the wing.
what application you are using?
Embiid and Maxey gonna go together and play for team USA lock it in
@@Jacko0825 Nope, not happening.
Id love to see Zion be there, he’s unstoppable. But he wont unless he proves he can stay healthy
i feel like if kd does have that bron type longevity he def can make team in 2028
Dont forget South Sudan will have Bol Bol and Thon Maker 🎉
Strange seeing the Magic getting recognition.
what’s the name of the chart you used for this demonstration??
Tier list
Not to mention France has Rupert who is gonna be batum on steroids
With so much talent in the Guard position, I think there might be a guard-heavy roster. This is my prediction:
USA roster 2028 Olympics:
Edwards || Guard
Booker || Guard
Tatum || Wing
Adebayo || Big
Banchero || Big
Haliburton || Guard
Morant || Guard
Flagg || Wing
Holmgren || Big
Davis || Big
Bridges || Wing
Brown || Wing
I would not be suprised what so ever if someone like White, Kessler or Hart got picked as role players. Snubs at the guards like Brunson, Mitchell, Young and Fox will get in if they have an amazing season in 27/28. If Embiid stays healthy or Durant shows that LeBron-longevity, they probably makes it as well.
@@sindre92 USA roster 2028 Olympics.
LeBron James
Stephen Curry
Kevin Durant
Devin Booker
Klay Thompson
Paul George
Jayson Tatum
Jaylen Brown

Cade will be the best PG in the East if not the whole league by that time.

Funny how dudes out here are bringing out NBA stats like they mean much in FIBA. Guess what... they don't have defensive 3 seconds over there so you can't rely on small dudes who can barely shoot, you need size and versatility out there if you don't want the opposing teams to feast on mismatches.
Booker started mostly
Where would you say Kyrie would be in this list
There's something cathartic (and a little sad) about Kyrie being snubbed from the list entirely lol
Old, undersized guard lol. Similar reason he probably wasn’t invited this year. They didn’t need a second old, undersized guard when they already had Curry
@@Phriedah Kyrie is Australian born on March 23, 1992 in Melbourne, Australia.
