You might find this interesting. I am starting a residential trash removal service here in Tucson, AZ. One can service will cost $99 a month for weekly service. This is how it works... They buy 2 of those trash cans you showed from Home Depot (any size and color they like) as their sign up fee. One stays on their property, and the other in my yard. And this is why. I show up, roll their full trash can to the truck or trailer, and roll the empty, cleaned and sanitized receptacle, with an air freshener in it, to where the full one just was. They do not put their trash out. They do not have to remember when their pick-up day is. They cannot forget their day, because they don't have to do anything. Their can never gets that summertime slinkiness that makes you want to vomit when you take out a bag of trash. They never have to go out in the rain, heat, or cold. They do not have to go out a second time to bring the can back in. If they have a gravel driveway, we even rake out the wheel lines made by rolling the cans over it. That is just stuff I remember off the top of my head. I offer the best service at the highest prices. People who want to be free from the headaches, hassles, and horror stories of fly-by-night service will pay the highest price, if they are getting the value. And, the people who can pay it understand. How do I know this? I have already done it in the yardwork industry. We offer the most expensive yardwork maintenance service in Tucson, AZ. None of our customers are tempted away by lower prices, because they hire us knowing we are the most expensive. I tell them at the bid. And let it hang. I tell them if they ever find more expensive yardwork service being offered, let us know, so we can raise our prices. Good luck!
Would you be open to me messaging you on getting to that level of atleast 500-600 clients. I would greatly appreciate it. Currently at around 30-40 slowly getting like 3 a month. Would love to bridge the gap. Thankyou!
You can buy new cans for $67 a piece from B&G sales in michigan. That also have used . We started in august and now have 350 customers and going for 600 by July
Try finding some used carts on trash FB groups. We had good look picking up quite a few used for cheap. We just started 4 months ago in residential. Good luck man!
It's going alot better for some and alot worse.for others. Its.going good enough for me, but my income might be the worst income you have ever heard of in this business. Who knows. I have 2 15 years dumpsters and one roll off flat deck I have never really used and that's it. It's a side gig for me and that's it. One of.the dumpsters is rented out full time for 500 a month. All the rest comes from one can
