All the overly emotionally invested football fans, kpop fans, actor fans, singer fans, swifties and all other type of fandoms, have something in common. Just a bad day for their team or icon can turn into a bad week or bad month for them. I find it silly but I also do care for some other kind of trivial stuff. We suffer most in our minds than in reality. The anxiety, the anticipation, the hopes, the heartbeat; maybe we crave for it, some sense of belonging, some external point of meaning and purpose. Imagine explaining to a person who is anxious about going hungry and not making it, explaining to someone whose loved one passed away, explaining to someone whose health is not well, explaining to someone who got into some accident, explaining to some facing actual blows of life, explaining to someone who is on brink of ending it, explaining to him that I am sad and devastated because a team couldn't hit a ball into net. Being devastated because of a football game is a luxury and privilege not all people have and we should be thankful to almighty for it.
