@@Linjen_ meshroom is really annoying, to control, too many hidden values. I also never found out if you could export a point cloud with colours, I don't think it was possible last time I tried. I would recommend using a command line interface with colmap, there's no real benefit of the GUI, it also allows you to batch script multiple versions.
This is relaxing to watch, really good job dude! Definitely I will use this video as reference for any Point Cloud project... congrats!! 👏👏
Molly should literally narrate documentaries, that was beautiful x
Who is molly? Is it the voice over girl?
Can you mention her profile
Yes indeed. I’m looking for a narrator as well. This is really well done. Bravo
Wow.
Great job
Going to watch in vr
Waw !
: how many hours have you spent doing this ?
the team: Yes
Not sure on exact hours but prolly 100h
wow that edit at 2:52 - how did you do this neat perspective shift?
It is 360 footage looking upwards, it is UV wrapped on to the ceiling shape, use the camera to look left and right within the cube
Really nice! Which program did you use for the photogrammetry?
Colmap, it's great for precise control, but if you don't have a Cuda GPU, try out multi view environment, it runs on CPU only
@@KeirCB Thank you for the tips! I will look in to that. Have been running in to some problems with meshroom so Colmap maybe is the way to go.

Have you ever done photogrammetry on the ground and use a drone for in the air?
Never used a drone, it's impressive what you can achieve on the ground
@@KeirCB So true. But a drone is a whole other level. :)
@@finabentley-kimura4588 kinda using it as artistic restriction
How big is the file
The blend file? Or the point cloud? In MB?
I guess rendered file.
Are you still using iPhone
@@ocelli303 1.1GB, no I'm using a Sony A7ii but an iPhone would work fine
Creates mesmerizing artwork... point-cloud people ask about the filesize 😅 but another incredible piece @Keir!
