Speldosa - Wintergatan Musix Box! The original Music Box Sound i made and have used for all Wintergatan Music, now you can make your own music with it: Desktop Version - VST/AU/AAX: www.klevgrand.com Ipad and Iphone: apps.apple.com/us/app/speldos... I have been dreaming about this for such a long time, so proud and happy to be able to introduce Speldosa - Wintergatan Music Box This Virtual Software instrument was created in Collaboration with Klevgränd - a boutique plugin creative studio from Stockholm. I highly recommend you checking out Klevgränds other plugins - everything they do is awesome. Huge thanks to Klevgränd for this collaboration. Subscribe to Klevgränd on youtube: www.youtube.com/@klevgrand This sound means so much to me, i created it by sampling my own music box and i have used it on almost all my songs to date. This was the sound that started my music career. I cant wait to see what you all create with it. Post your #Speldosa music and videos online so i can check them out!
Sigh. I'm having problems getting the VST installed into my Fruity Loops Studio 8. Not sure what I am doing wrong. It shows Speldosa in the list but in red lettering and when you click it, it says unknown install error.
the starmachine2000 intro almost made me cry. I used to watch the MMX videos with my wife who passed away 2 years ago. we listened to the tracks from both Wintergatan and Detektivbyrån. Thank you for the beautiful music!
I am so sorry for your loss. May 10th marked 2 years since I lost my brother, so I know how painful it is to lose someone you're so close to. The wounds of grief heal with time, but the scars never fade.
I love, how you can really hear the panning in eternal mode. It feels like the different notes are travelling towards you, from different directions. Insanely cool stuff, I love it.
The eternal mode is absolutely beautiful, something about it really reminds me of Dark and also Minecraft, the sound is so fitting for both, as well as Interstellar 2 of course
So cool! Makes me want to hook up my old keyboard to the computer again.... and also take my grandfathers old music box for a spin! It's such a nice sound.
Oh my .... Martin ... you bring so so many ways of bringing xylophone/vibraphone/music box sounds to us ... can't wait to hear some more rock band tune creations with this VST. Also cool to see you're still into the physical music boxes, i think this day and age we can get caught up in just doing everything on computers and you inspire us all to make music with actual instruments!
The original marble machine video got me to this channel. Videos documenting the construction of that machine got me hooked. But once I found all of the music, it brought about an absolutely "next level" appreciation. I was obsessed with the development & collaboration story in the MMX saga. I watched religiously from the beginning. Since that project has faded, I've moved on to other interests. I know about the new project and I've seen several of the videos. But they don't hit the same way. This video just helped me to understand why... For me, the art (beautiful expression) of spontaneous creativity is what ties it all together with a common thread. The home made instruments and the feel of the music expressed a creative passion and a spontaneous origin... That had a synergistic effect and resulted in something amazing at every turn. The improvisation in this video shows me how easy it is for some people. I'm in awe of that. That is your gift, Martin. Sharing it does wonders for more people than you realize.
the playing with the eternal setting... so good! You can't play the current sound, you have to anticipate the evolution of the soundscape and jump ahead to create it
What makes this VST great is how sharp and loud every note is. It is different from the original instrument, but this makes a great ground zero not only to make it sound like the original in post, but also to develop the sound to greater things.
Every video of you jamming out on an instrument has been an auditory treat since I've been watching this channel. (marble machine 1.0) I'm always amazed at just how easily you not only make an instrument your own but get a completely unique piece of music with barely any fuss at all.
I am so happy with this sound! I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I think 10 US dollars is too little to be honest! This is amazing! Thank you!
Martin, it is a beautiful instrument. I bought it and I can't even play! To other non-musicians and especially non-Apple people. You can use this if you are a Windows user. Get a trial download of any DAW software that allows VSTs. I have Ableton Lite that came with a MIDI mini-keyboard. It is easy to get going. Have fun everyone.
I'm in love with music boxes so this might be the first vst I buy, after sailing the seas for so long. This just sounds so good, it's not just a sample pack made into a soulless kontakt instrument, I love it
INTROS - guesses which are obviously correct (check them out) Wintergatan - Sommarfagel and Starmachine 2000 Detektivbyran/OG - E18 Thanks so much Martin and the band still continuing and sorry guys if i might not be able to get the app right now (or maybe forever). I might try and once again thanks so much i havent been watching your vids for a while.
So intoxicating! It didn't matter what you played, or how you changed the atmosphere, the notes were so hypnotic! I was ready to jump on my keyboard and just play around! It had been a while since I heard you play something at random, and it was refreshing to hear! ❤❤
I was a bit on the fence but that eternal mode convinced me! I love Klevgrand (not only because their name resembles mine), I've bought Slammer, Stark, Brusfri and Korvpressor already, this will be my next!
It's honestly great to see you taking time to make content outside of the marble machine. Don't get me wrong the marble machine videos are awesome, but I also enjoyed this a lot.
Got the plugin a few days ago, and played with it through Ableton Lite with my PC keyboard. Purchased it after I ordered my first Midi Keyboard, and I don't have access to mod wheel control yet, but glad to know there's still one more feature I haven't discovered. Looks like I'll be having a lot fun with it, once the Keyboard arrives. 😄
Can they add a scratchier sound, like you have when you are turning paper through your original music boxes? It would give a true vintage sound, like you get with a record.
I have made full songs with this plug in dude. and have been following this man for since the beginning of his marble machine X days. I love it, I love it all!
I got the VST plug in from Klevgrand quite easily. It's so compact, it downloaded right away. My DAW - MOTU-DP11 - recognized it right away and accepted it! In a few seconds, I was playing the Speldosa -- not as well as you, but I did turn out a nice C major scale. So, I can say that it all WORKS! Thanks for the great VST!
This plugin is absolutely gorgeous, and when I heard you playing the intro of Sommarfågel and Starmachine2000 my heart melted 😭❤ And it is so cheap ! Like 6 bucks for such an amazing sound, I really recognise your mentality here Martin From the bottom of our heart, thank you for your amazing job, bless you 🙏
@Wintergatan Wow, maaaaan. This is unbelievable! I just LOOVE this plugin. So beautiful!!! And so useful!!! Just got it with my Arturia Keylab Essential 61 MK2 as an Easter egg or should I say a Christmas present from Heaven. Great job guys! Very inspiring!
I bought Speldosa the instant after I saw the first announcement for it. As I described it before, it creates instant happiness. The interface is extremely intuitive and expressive. The iPad version has an extra little touch I wasn’t expecting. In addition to the on-screen keyboard, you can run your fingers along the teeth of the music box almost like playing a harp. Truth be told, I’m happy to back anything Martin dreams up because I respect his talent and good character so much, but I was delighted by Speldosa itself. The line here between musical thought and musical expression is more like a dot and it made me appreciate the range of sonic possibilities that can emerge from one pure sound. I’m glad to have this beautiful little music app.
So proud!! This is Martin I remember and missed for past two years. The joy, the sound... just simply amazing. Please stick to music, leave engineering behind
The sound is very luliby Paper Mario Star Summit Stary. I apsolutely love it. Thank you for bringing such beautiful music to our world. Music is one of the greatest things in life. A magic to be lucky to know and feel.
It's great, but the only thing you can't put in a VST is your soul with which you can create wonderful music. And that (fortunately!) cannot be replicated! You have something inside you that belongs only to you, and that makes you special.. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Martin your music 🎶 is one of my favourites ever and I can tell you that Neurodivergent Nuerospicy people with the Tism love this music too! It brings me such peace and joy unlike anything else. Makes me wanna tear up happy tears 🥹
Are you kidding me?! Ever since I first heard your song "E18" I've been looking for the perfect music box sound. And now you've made it into a VST! 😃 Wow! I'm definitely buying this! And yes, I am a OG Detektivbyrån fan 😉
I may actually finish piano lessons! This does sound so impressively inspiring. So cool. Once again Martin knows how to capture our senses and blow us away.

I cant get this to work VST on FL studio.
@@billkeithchannel SAME! Issue it just doesn't open :(
@@GirlOnAQuest Maybe I need the 64 bit version which was introduced in Version 11. What version are you using?
we all need a 1 hour long improvising video made with Speldosa... just let your imagination fly
YES
make that a stream and im coming!
No joke, I could listen to this all day.
Pleaasseee Martin! make it happen.
yes please
the starmachine2000 intro almost made me cry. I used to watch the MMX videos with my wife who passed away 2 years ago. we listened to the tracks from both Wintergatan and Detektivbyrån.

I am so sorry for your loss. May 10th marked 2 years since I lost my brother, so I know how painful it is to lose someone you're so close to. The wounds of grief heal with time, but the scars never fade.
I love your creativity and how easy it is for you, to create such beautiful melodies. And the Speldosa is a really cool thing.
True
Could listen to Martin playing on this all day! Would probably end up falling asleep because it sounds so relaxing!
It really does sound beautiful.
I love, how you can really hear the panning in eternal mode.
It feels like the different notes are travelling towards you, from different directions.
Insanely cool stuff,
I love it.
I’m not a musician but I can see some talented people making good use of this. What a beautiful lullaby.
After listening to this video the amount of stress in my life actually decreased. Just me, my coffee and Martin's improvisation.
It's a pleasure to watch you casually jamming. Seeing you freestyling really drives home the extent of your musical talent. 😌👌
Even if it was only for 3 seconds, it was wonderful hearing Martin play some Detektivbyran again
It made me tear up a little bit. Had to play it back a couple of times.
The eternal mode is absolutely beautiful, something about it really reminds me of Dark and also Minecraft, the sound is so fitting for both, as well as Interstellar 2 of course
it reminds me of the modular synth stuff that State Azure does
it sounds so amazing 😍 can't wait to hear new music from you
The intro from "Sommarfågel" blows me away every time!
So cool! Makes me want to hook up my old keyboard to the computer again.... and also take my grandfathers old music box for a spin! It's such a nice sound.
Surprised to see you here, the GOAT blacksmith channel on RUclips.
One of my favourite sounds from wintergatansongs, so amazing!
I love when Martin just plays around with instruments
Amazing seeing you smash out those songs in quick succession. Such beautiful pieces.

The shoutout to Hans Zimmer made my heart happy. If you two pair up, I will watch the movie no matter what
5:19
The big revurb and the bug room sound like you're playing music young a tranquil lake!
It sounds divine!!

The journey of the MMX at least continues. You may want to check out the @Musikkabinett YT channel.
Bought it and wrote a piece with it straight away… Beautiful instrument and thanks for sharing that sound.
The stars it makes as you play are soo cool, especially with the Wintergatan sounds that sound almost like a bedtime story in music form. :)
This man must be preserved at all cost!
Missed these kind of music videos, love it! When will you jam with some of the wintergatan members?
I love it! I think you're a genius, Martin. A great techie, and musician, composer, performer. A man of many talents.
Great to see you back making beautiful music again! It has been too long!
This is the best music ever… I hope to them in concert one day… I would put that on my bucket list! Seriously…
the playing with the eternal setting... so good! You can't play the current sound, you have to anticipate the evolution of the soundscape and jump ahead to create it

It sounds so Beautiful that I wanted to cry the whole video. If i had any musical talent I would play this all day
Goodness this is so beautiful! I listen to Wintergatan and Detektivbyran daily, so i recognized all the intro songs. Love seeing you play with this!!
I love the emotion that comes from this sound. I would love to hear you just improvise for a while, see what you come up with.
I could listen to this all day. You make beautiful things.❤

I bought this on the App Store when you first released it, and I have to say, it’s the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard in my life so far!!!
Wow… 4:32 and 7:14 have to be one of the most nostalgic sounds I’ve heard recently. So painfully beautiful.
I am so happy with this sound! I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I think 10 US dollars is too little to be honest! This is amazing! Thank you!

so many videos on engineering and progress and failure... it's nice to be reminded that you're a talented musician behind it all
0:45 all of your songs have dragged me into this channel for sure. Your music is what got me through my studies in my university.
this sound design is phenomenal
Can they add a scratchier sound, like you have when you are turning paper through your original music boxes? It would give a true vintage sound, like you get with a record.
I instantly bought it when you released it. Haven't yet had time to figure out how to use it, but I can't wait.
Simple, beautiful, elegant and magical.
All of those sound would just fit perfectly in the made in abyss soundtrack !!!
That's crazy ! I absolustly love how all of this sound !!!
Simply stunning, unique, and so sublime!
Ahhh! Now Im gonna go back and listen to E18 again! A great album!
I have made full songs with this plug in dude. and have been following this man for since the beginning of his marble machine X days. I love it, I love it all!
So beautiful! Well done Martin 😊
😭 STOP 😭
So beautiful … it’s drawing tears … truly speaking to my heart.
I celebrate with you and am so blessed by your genius. I think it so amazing - the heart of it is music! Angelic - very lovely music! God bless you!

You must know it's my 45th birthday today, Martin! Why, thank you for writing me a song and releasing a video!
Loved the throwback to Detektivbryån!
I’ve been looking for this sound for two years for a song 🥺
You found it!
Wow, never thought I'd get lost in a Midi keyboard demo, this is mesmerizing.
My kid already used this plugin to make spooky sounds and music for a Roblox game he's making for his friends.
It sounds like a hang drum with higher notes. Beautiful!
Martin! I’m crying like a girl ❤️ what a masterpiece!! 🤩

Been loving your music since E18! This sound brings back such great feelings.
Finally a plugin that will help me with my music!
Wow, you should be very proud of this. Magnificent!

I'm just about to buy it, so excited to play around with this instrument! It sounds perfect
I got shivers just listening to your improv
Nearly a year and I keep coming back to listen to this.
this sounds absolutely beautiful
0:25 Sommarfågel
0:41 Starmachine2000
0:53 E18 by Detektivbyrån (Thankyou Johan Andersson!)
0:53 E18 by Detektivbyrån
I bought it and played around with it in Cubase. A nice little instrument.
Also a bit easier, and non destructive, than using my real musicbox ;)
Oh my God earing E18 played by Martin again made me cry, I was not ready 🥺
Happy to see you escape from the never ending fine tuning and experimentation in the workshop trying to perfect the second music machine.
Absolutely beautiful!
This is very beautiful, Martin. Thank you.
This has got me in the mood for making several lullabies
I love it, I bought it! I will play it! THANKS for this wonderful VST!
One word: Mesmerizing
I bought it and it's fantastic. thank you guys.
It's great, but the only thing you can't put in a VST is your soul with which you can create wonderful music. And that (fortunately!) cannot be replicated! You have something inside you that belongs only to you, and that makes you special.. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Hola Martin! Saludos desde España.
¿Tenéis pensado algún concierto este año? Sería genial veros en directo y comprar todo vuestro merchandising ❤
I may actually finish piano lessons! This does sound so impressively inspiring. So cool. Once again Martin knows how to capture our senses and blow us away.
But what if this whole music box sound making was a really cool retro style video game? What kind of music would people be able to make then? Hmmm.
Beautiful sound and fantastic software.
I just realzed that you published this. and instantly, I was like: "take my money, I buy it!"
sadly I dont have money right now (just a puny little woodsculpting apprentance) but in a few days I'll get my paycheck and then I'll definetly buy it. and its only 9$ so its like... defenitly a buy. just love music boxes but never found one that I really liked. but this, this is on a completly other level. Great work and thank you for sharing your sounds over the years ^^
