- As we mentioned before, Brian is on a trip to California for his high school reunion and to spend some time with his family. That leaves Stephanie to do some dining reviews on her own. Initially we were only going to do 1 review, but I got nervous that I was too awkward sitting in Beefy King doing a review by myself that I decided I would take one of our little BS'ers along for a bonus review. Huge shout out to anyone that does vlogging by themselves. Ya'll are superstars and I hope to grow and be more comfortable vlogging alone one day, especially in busy places!
I initially wanted to go to Beefy King as they have been an Orlando staple for over 50 years and I have never been! Even though they have pretty limited hours, if you can make it, I highly suggest it! The beef sandwich was delicious!
For the second review, we went to Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar-B-Que. This is another restaurant that has 2 locations in the Orlando area and has been open for many years. If you are looking to get your Bar-B-Que fix without breaking your wallet, look no further. I had the sliced pork basket and our little BS'er enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich.

Excellent double-header! BBQ is one of my favorite things to cook. I don't do it much these days because my learning curve probably knocked a decade off my life expectancy, but when I get around to it, it's always a hit.
Both of these places looked really good and it's nice that they were very reasonably priced.

I’ve been there! It’s really good for what it is. Nothing fancy but fast and hits the spot when you want a tasty lunch and don’t want to go to fast food chain. I agree the beef sandwich is the best and has a good juicy taste. Vlogging is hard at any time when you’re in a busy restaurant, but yes when you are by yourself it feels so awkward lol. The second place looks tasty too! Nice job

What an awesome name!! A lot of these places have jackfruit pulled pork but we aren’t huge fans of that….it’s nice Orlando has so many restaurants and we hope Brian is having an awesome time👍👍

There really is! Beefy King is one of those places you always hear about. It’s delicious. Just gotta make sure you know when they’re open. We tried to go Saturday for dinner once and they were closed! -S

Until I read the description I was scratching my head as to why Brian was on vacation and and you were left alone in Orlando. He actually was at a reunion, Which sounds a lot better than he was on vacation without you. On the flip side you really don't need him to do reviews. 🤣🤣 Maybe sneak in 1 or 2 more reviews before he gets back
😂😂 Since I have a regular corporate job and have already taken 2 1 week vacations in April and June, it’s just hard to do again so soon back to back so he was on his own (trust me though, a trip anywhere is better than working). Brian is having a great time in California and will be back soon. I am still no pro at doing these reviews alone. I need Brian to give me talking topics. I’m not one to talk yo myself often! 🤣-S
Hey Stephanie great solo video! It can be weird talking to the camera alone but it's a thing of practice! To be fair I really applaud you 'cause I've never done it in public before! The two restaurants both seem really special in their own ways!

Yes! Beefy King was as delicious as its name implies! I need to take Brian back so he can have a taste. I’m sure it’ll be a favorite. Filming alone is hard. I had to think of things to talk about and normally Brian just doesn’t keep quiet 😂-S
How fun to do the review and hopefully it wasn't too awkward since you had company as you said. I think that was so sweet how you told your story a bit more. I have never been to Beefy King, I driven but countless times. I will try it next time I am in the area. I used to know the owner of Bubbalous, Bucky I don’t know if he still owns it. This was early 2000s. You did a great job on your own too! Great video 👍🏼

Stephanie you did an awesome job going it solo 😊 I have never tried Beefy King but used to drive by it every morning on my way to work. I have seen the Bubbalou’s in passing but never been. We do love BBQ though so maybe we will try it at some point.

Both places are great. Beefy King is a little east of downtown Orlando and this Bubbalous was north of Orlando. Both are great options if in the area looking for a cheaper quick meal! -S
