I love seeing the trial and error because as another commentor said, most videos edit those part out and those are the parts that can discourage a person. Seeing you work through these issues is encouragement for those moments. I just pulled my Cameo back out and now I'm back at it.
I really think your videos are the best out there. Because when you mess up you don't edit it out you let us see it as well as letting us see how you fix it. And that makes for the best training video out there.
Thank You
Yes, he makes it seem realistic and he's relatable. I love watching his videos
Hey nice video but for those transfer that is rolling up on you, all you need is to get some of the clear carrier like that on the Heat Transfer Vinyl
and stick it over the print, that will keep it firm and flat then you can do your normal press, allow it to a bit then remove the carrier.
Nice vid. No cuts no bs. Thats what makes it clean
Thanks for watching
Thanks a lot, as the commenter said below I had my cameo for over a year and until I watched your video I could not use it. I now can print and cut. There are a lot of videos out there on printing and cutting but none of them teach newbies how to use the cameo and print and cut with it. You even give the cutting settings. You are the greatest.
This dude is really coming up quick. A year from now...can’t wait to witness.
Fingers crossed. Thanks Trenton. We will see how this goes. Slow and steady. no boom yet.
Hubby is a Football fanatic! Don't hate we are Kansas City people. My family is American Indian. 😁 My dad's Grandma was full Cherokee. She was soooo sweet.
The Eagle looks great
Mistakes are part of the learning process! I enjoyed this!
Try using the htv carrier transfer tape that you pressed your name with for the eagle as well. Put the eagle on the clear sheet before you peel.
Thank you, I've had my Cameo for months and didn't know how to use it. I enjoyed all of the mistakes and demonstration step by step. You made it so easy for me!
That is great news. So you took it out and used it and it worked? Did I hear that right?
Now I understand the advantages of having a side- out or swing-away heat press.
I’ve been doing this for a few years now and I’m always watching different ways to learn and always get better and I’ve appreciated this video more than anything other video I’ve seen it’s for sure the most realistic and relatable to the things you will experience using vinyl thank you for showing the mess ups because that actually happens and it’s nice to see I’m not the only one that messes up and see how others overcome the challenges thank you for an awesome video!
What is the durability of vinyl printing
Dubb rock with you family learning alot from your channel
I love how you did the video live style with the good and bad. Most videos I came across make it look so easy and never have any errors! I love the real style of video. Keep up the great work!
Thank you. I appreciate it. I’ve never gotten any hardware that didn’t give me some sort of resistance. I think it’s important to show people what they will face. It’s just like life. Nothing ever really goes super smooth but if you see how someone else solves issue and makes things work you feel encouraged and motivated. Mistakes are important and when you can solve these issues you feel unstoppable. Thanks so much for watching. 🙏🏾
I'm a Huge Eagles fan. So its a thumbs up 👍.Love it
Another real video on what our struggles can be. Thank you!
I think this video just helped me take my shirt printing to the level I wanna be at... thanks a million...
Your welcome. Thank you so much for watching.
I have done a similar shirt and the colors pop better with layered HTV. Good job
Our family is all about the animal Eagles and All about American Eagle. Plus hometown sports while my kids were growing up were the Eagles👍
You should add your offset or trace to one image when you 1st add the image to silhouette then group that trace with the image, then create your various sizes so you don’t have to repeat your efforts. Hope that helps you!
The video was really cool. I'm a graphic designer and it does not look bad with the different color, but like you said the number a little small. Hey you know you can start a new trend, so don't worry to much about it.
Oh printing can be frustrating. At least you showed it.👍
this video ia super imporTANT... because mistakes happen and you basically prepare us beginners for things that may happen.. Thank u
Very good video even with the mistakes, we all make them and it was good that you didn’t cut them out cause it’s a learning curve for some of us and also for you. Others giving you advice of how you could do something’s different. For real though I liked it, and you went through the whole process and explained what you were doing. A proper video tutorial 👍🏾 keep up the good work
I didn't read all your comments but I have an idea for placing the small bird. I do it often when I try to reuse vinyl that I have weeded already. You could try to reused the carrier sheet for the name and number you pressed on the back. I don't know how it would work on the printed image. You could do a test run on a design that didn't print perfect. Try pressing for a few seconds and peel it away and then try the Teflon sheet.
Thanks very much for taking the time to show your skills. So many of my questions were answered. Much love and a like for sure! 🙏🏻
THE VIDEO HELPED A LOT. I HAVE A RICOMA 6301 PRO COMING. GREAT TIPS. I WANTED THE CAMEO 4. HOPEFULLY WHAT I'M GETTING IS BETTER.
Gosh makes me want to buy a press now
It’s a hit!! Great work bro!!
This is an awesome video. The best thing to use to transfer the design onto the shirt is heat tranfer masking vinyl. Not the kind that is generally used with permanent crafting vinyl used on glass and windows. This can be heat pressed and It is sold on Amazon for $15/10ft. Or Stable wsell it for $170/25yrds. There may be other places that sell it, but this is where I've purchased.
Dope how you showed the mistakes as well as the good parts.. Shirt came out dope tho! #FlyEaglesFly 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Thank you. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Good demo on registration marks. The struggle is real.
eagles are the best I love them and watch them all the time
great ...any heat on a transfer will make it curl. sticky sheets helps with that application and you can cut them to size. hot peel after pressing.
I'M A NOVICE AND I THOUGHT THE 2 PASSES WAS A BIT MUCH. PERHAPS THE REASON FOR THE DIFFICULTY YOU HAD AFTER THE CUT. LOVE WHAT YOU DOING
Just got the Cameo 4. Thank you for your great tutorial. Your videos are fun to watch and very helpful. Greets from Germany, formerly Florida
Your welcome. I appreciate it and thank you for watching.
Wow. Florida to Germany. I'd love to move to florida some day. How are you enjoying life in Germany so far?
Awesomeness. Thank you for a great tutorial! I think I'll make use of my printer and Silouette to make some great t-shirts.
You make things REAL FUN 2 ADUB!
That's shows that accidents do happen and practice makes perfect!!
The shirt came out great numbers are fine gee whiz
I like your videos, practical and enjoyable. Use a weeder tool to get the picture of and you can lower your hand when pulling of your pic. A high hand will cause the picture to tear.
you have no idea how much that you helped me, great video.
Bang Bang Bird Gang...I dig it!
I just received my cameo 3 a few weeks ago and not sure what I’m doing, but I’m obsessed with it!
My kid is joining football this year I wanted to learn to make stuff for him and I! 🥰
Great. I hope this helped. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.
Love it. I would have done the numbers and name white. This will be project number 2 for me. Just got my Cameo 4. Love the video and will definitely use the links to buy the transfer paper.
Great video man! You doing it like a pro. Thanks for this super useful video.
Thanks so much for all of your informative videos! Especially this one because I fly with the 🦅
I am from Philly. Love the Eagles!!
I appreciate you brother especially giving us all the links to what to buy. The T-shirt came out wonderful it's Unique now that it's not all the same colour and with the numbers small small and higher up one of a kind 👍
Another philly man. Yessiiirrrrr
Next time you need to have a transfer tape, that you stick ontop of the print and lift the print off the paper, there is a special one for printed heattransfer
This video is perfect for college football, game is this weekend thank you Allan, great idea
It's a go !! Thx for the help ...
Hi I just bumped on seeing you and this video for the first time, it was so self explanatory to watch you and the purposely mistakes LOL. It also was very informative and I have learned a lot from you as a beginner. Thanks and keep up the Fantastic videos you are sharing with us.
The most talented person in California is subbed now ✊🏽
I do print n cut on an old silhouette cameo 1 that I got for free :P I use laser transfer paper and I put a pieces of clothes (a piece of tshirt in my case) on top of my sillicon sheet... it take cares of the humidity and it keeps the design in place and prevent curling of the edges
New to Silhouette and I thank you for this video. It was a bonus that you did Eagles...as soon as you said jaun I missed home.. you have a fan thank you I learned something today.
That’s awesome. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. Welcome to dubb nation. Make sure your subscribed and that you liked the video. I appreciate you.
When I do mine, I tack the image down with an iron very lightly before I put it on the heat press. This way I know it won’t move or peel up
Great video man. Thank you. You always come thru with the best tutorial videos.
Your doing well. Sending many blessings your way.🙏
thank you for walking thru this process. I learned a lot and I am going to make a shirt for my husband. as far as yours it wasn't bad. the only thing that could have been better was the name and number lower... the guns were good too. lol
Thank you. Name and number lower copy. I take note of that for the next time. I appreciate the advice. Helps me get better.
I’m glad you enjoyed the gun show. Lol thanks for watching.
Looks great anyway. You’re the only one. Who will notice mistakes
Cowboys!!!!
Thanks for the info bud
LOOKS 👍 GREAT
Go birds love it
Not only can you reuse a backing sheet to keep your printed sheet from curling, if you do use tape, you could do a quick 3 second press then take the tape or backing sheet off, then do a full press.
Thanks. I didn't know that back then but thats what ive been doing ever since.
@@adubbproductions
I saw the video date after I made the comment. Smh....late 😂
MrPhillyMan No worries. Either way I appreciate it.
Wow wade very good
Thank you. And thanks for watching.
Helps me a lot,.my tshirt business just started and have a bit problem with regards on how to registered to my silluette cameo 3..thanks
You should use clear transfer mask to apply the printable vinyl it will save you the headache
Shirt is great
You got my subscribe when you said Philadelphia Eagles
Thanks for the video I have a cricket but is still Help because I'm New at this
I've just started down the t-shirt rabbit hole, I have years of cut vinyl sign industry experience before things went mainly printed, so I'm at the beginning stages again and I find your on the fly type of video not only refreshing but very informative, keep up the great work. Oh and I think the whole back image should have been lower, the name a bit smaller and maybe the numbers larger. Maybe pen plot things out to check layout before cutting. Thanks again for the great videos.
Im from PHILLY LOVE MY EAGLES AND ALSO LOVE MY MIAMI HURRICANES
Yassss im an eagles fan as well
Thank U sooooo much for this video, I been wondering how to print an cut👍👍👍
It’s crazy I been watching your RUclips for awhile now and I keep saying to myself that I know you from somewhere 🤔 and now you just said you from Philly 😳🤯 it’s crazy we both from the same city Cuzo I know we might have cross paths at one point !!!
Perhaps bro. You know Philly is small.
when you press the tshirt make sure its cool down before you put the transfer on it
the heat causes the tranfer to curl up
Philly supporting Philly. 😁👍
im also from phillly and i laughed so hard when you said jawn
Lol, Jahn, jaaan, jawn. That's Midwest to east coast.
@@svnbit8408 It’s Philly slang.
I've had my cameo 3 for almost a year now, and was so confused to really use it the way I want to. I'm learning a lot from your videos, keep it up! Also, yes please let us know how it lasts with washing. TIA
Washing video coming up. I'll put it threw a few loads and see.
When I remove the backing from my transparency turn it over and do it from the back with the eagle down and help curling
its because your platen is hot after prepressing the shirt. You either have to press quick or let it cool down.
With the heat tape if you fold it over it creates a tab that you can grab and put it on the design side for less chance of pulling up design
Why do I not know who you are... gonna watch your videos... have a great week!!
Dope af learned a bunch thanks! Keep posting I’m here as a student 👍🏽
Thanks for this video
Like your presentation. will be back. Just unpacked my cameo 3 and will do some test printing today.
An amazing tutorial!!!!
Thank you Niccole.
Fresh
Nice job, thank you for this tutorial.
Eagles!!!!!!
You already know.
Thank you so glad I found you! helps a lot...
A Wade!!! Hey buddy. I subscribed to your channel a while back, don't even remember what video I was watching at the time. However, this morning ((03/17/2020)) I just happened to catch you doing your CAMEO 4 digs, and was super duper about it. I was gifted a CAMEO 3 for New Year 2020, and have never sat down to it yet. Because unfortunately my laptop konked out before I got the machine. None the less I will definitely be 💯 for how to master the designs of choice once I get my laptop. Thanks for the very informative tutes on the CAMEO3. Simple, Thorough Details are important!!
Awesome. 🙏🏾 thank you Adra. Can’t wait to hear about all the different designs you are making. Keep me posted. I appreciate you.
@@adubbproductions can you recommend a good laptop? I'm in the no techi lane. . .🤔🙄
Thanks for making this video. I have been trying to decide if I need a Cameo to weed heat transfer vinyl. I have a Graphtec 6000, but the Silhouette software looks a lot better for weeding. I have been reusing pieces of the clear from HTV to hold the printed vinyl flat and keep it from curling. It's good because you can see the design to line it up on the garment. Do you have some work out videos out there too? You clearly spend a lot of time at the gym.
ITS A HIT!!
You've got a big hit there!
I would seriously like to know how long the eagle design will last.
It will last a long time.
I pull my backing off use an iron to just lije it flat fir about 5 second and then put it on the heat press.
great job
Great video
hey Allan - A- Dubb you videos have been fire .. but with fire there is smoke i have a trick that i tried it may seem time consuming but with my priny and cuts i print and cut then i take may shirts and line every thing up before i turn on the press using the heat tape and if i got a back i press the fronts first you have the Teflon pillow so press the fronts the flip and do the back that way you dont hve to worry about the design curling .... try it and then do a video on it if it works for you just a suggestion that work flawless every time and im new to this as you ..
Hey. It’s worth a try. I’ll check it out.
