This is a very interesting review a bit flawed tho , the kugoo is a amazing budget to mid range scooter but it’s far from the cream of the crop as e scooters , the bike is at minimum 3.5 grand , if you rented a kaboo wolf warrior it would have been more fair in terms of price , better suspension, hydro brakes bigger power motor etc I’m really impressed how this kugoo was jumping very impressive and it being on a mtb course is like having floyd may weather in a MMA ring , I am impressed with that scooter considering it’s a mid to low end scooter that’s pretty koi’s goings

Not really. A lot of countries the bus has bike rack on front and doesn’t allow non folding scooters like that. Also if you have electric anything the bus is a waste of time and also an invalid argument because commute only makes up a small portion of riding for Emtb and scooter hobbyists so no one cares. There’s more to live than being a wage Slave. You should get outside more.

Interesting video. A bit missleading though you are comparing an ebike with a straight forward motorbike. The thing that would concern me is that ever now and then on road you have no option to hit a pothole often 3 inches deep, right through the missing tarmac and off road I occasionally hit an unavoidable root. With 700c wheels its an unpleasant jolt what happens on a scooter?

I’ll always try and avoid them, even on my bike, but at least I can safely go over them if I have to when I’m in traffic. If scooters are made legal on the roads, I foresee quite a lot of accidents caused by both drain covers and poor road surfaces. The wheels are just not big enough to be safe on the roads as they are.

I think e-scooters are going to be the future for commuting in city's and towns. They're small portable and easy to use. I can see conventional cars banned from city's within five years and my work has already said that all our vehicles must be replaced with electric/hybrid vehicles in the next ten years.

Should have put the bike up against a Wolf Warrior 11 off road scooter. Would have made it fairer against £5000 bike as it was only a cheap £1000 scooter which is absolutely rubbish. That model is no good and this can be seen in RUclips reviews.
The cost of the ebike doesn't really matter in this case cause you can spend 2500 or 5000 and end up with the same motor system. It's the scooter where in general the more you pay the beefier system you get.. Having said that, You can actually get beefier scooters than this one for a grand! Like the 5400w BOYUEDA 55mph.
5KM range? Even on cheaper models, high settings, with battery that seems really small, I never head such a small range. I never reallly did mountain climbing with a scooter, but in urban environment, with max power, lot of stopping and sharp acceleration, even the smallest battery and cheapest escooters can maek it to ~10km range.

It was designed so you can take it away from the scooter, but I don't see why it's needed, you can carry up an escooter even to a small city apartment. I think there are better scooters for that price range, depending on your use case.
That scooter comes in 30 different brands in china. The most popular one here in the USA named DualTron (Same Scooter) is dual 1600w motors every one and their mother owns one. They are constantly trying to race me on my commuter bike which is 22kW beach cruiser, the look in their eyes when I take off is priceless because they think those scooters are the new Mustang 5.0's, lol.
I’m surprised that scooter did that well considering it has a major flaw in its design... That single control arm for the front wheel, that use to be a big problem in the old gopeds that had only one front fork, without the support from both sides the front axel use to get bent and become useless. I couldn’t imagine my Kaabo with only one front fork/control arm without the support from both sides.
E scooter are meant for more mild off-road and mostly in the street or on pathway. When you ride an e scooter you should have one foot on the back kick stand and one closer to the front then you can jump.
Next time an S18 or V11 EUC v an electric MTB. I will take the EUC 7 days a week...but I still love Ebikes...it is like dating a 9 .5 versus a 10....you cannot go wrong.
Hey guys, love the channel, loads of usefull data. But since i got a 65 inch HDR 4K TV, i noticed that different video resolutions in subsequent clips are quite annoying - i keep checking the video quality only to realize it is on full resolution. Regarding that all the action cams are 4k last three generations, and a semi pro vlogging kit would cost you around 1000-1500€, i think you should up the ante on your recording gear and get some added value on the end product. Edit-The motors are 2x1200 watts,not 2x800 like it is on paper specs.Check it on the wheels. And the Kugoo has 3 gears. On uphill use the 2nd with the 2 motors and you will climb anything. I love my bike, bit since i have my G booster, the bike is collecting dust 😂.
Should have tested in a mutual area, the ebike had the advantage with them being tested on a trail built for bikes, the scooter had no chance from the start

I'm wondering how can you compare an e-bike when you use pedals with a fully electric scooter? Wouldn't it be more fair to use the e-bike on fully electric mode? But then we all know the outcome. Cause electric bikes in general have a much less performance on fully electric mode. And also just for more safety and better weight distribution, you should ride the e scooter with one foot in the front and the other one behind. That's why it was spinning so much. I have a Gotway MSX and recently sold my Rocky Mountain Altitude C70 ebike, the RM was obviously way better in the bike park, but around here it’s simple xc trails and the Gotway is the dream on these types of trails, so much so it was boring on the bike anywhere other than the bike park which is 100km away, the Gotway has a 80-100km real world range and top speed of 60km/h but I have it limited to 50km/h where it’ll cruise easily at, and it was 1/4 the cost
That's 3 years ago so maybe you've upgraded to a suspension EUC and the trails are even more fun... but then even the latest lynx etc are hopeless in the mud, whereas a $500 crf50 would be infinitely better. I love my EUCs but if there is strong crosswind or any mud, I'm taking a bike, petrol or electric powered.

5:46 on the scooter vs. 4:22 on the bike looks like a huge gap. But let's be honest, if I hear him talking about how "sketchy" the scooter feels and then watch him ride and see alone his stance on the scooter (side by side foot stance, I mean seriously?) it's kinda obvious, that he is an absolute beginner when it comes to scooter riding. Sure, you can see by him jumping the scooter, that some of his biking skills carry over, but so did my skateboarding experience when I started scooter riding. Now with a couple of 1000km under my belt scooter riding feels way different than when I first purchased one. If it was a beginner on the bike I wouldn't expect him to get anywhere near 4:22 either. And I'm 100% sure, that a more advanced rider on the scooter would come closer to the bikes time than this video makes it seem too. Not that I would expect the scooter to be faster, but I would expect a way closer result.
I ride both an e-scooter and an eMTB - both are loads of fun, but are both different types of fun. Each has it's place, but not both on the same trails.

How many ebikes have been tested using the Suntour HESC motor system? I believe many 10s of thousands of such bikes have sold in the UK possibly 100s of thousands but you wouldn't know they exist looking at EMBN.

I've got a wolf warrior e scooter, it is a lot more powerful than what you are using here. I think if you are comparing a top of the line bike you need to compare it to the likes of a wolf.
mine cost 2000.00 pounds i paid 1400.00 pounds got it this year. mine would destroy that bike same with my p1+ i paid 900 pounds for that nearly 3 years ago

i took a escooter on a little trail in New Jersey, takes a lot of balls since they arent as manuverable than the bikes.

I've got a wolf warrior e scooter, it is a lot more powerful than what you are using here. I think if you are comparing a top of the line bike you need to compare it to the likes of a wolf.
