Its quite strange, as five years ago, whilst receiving change from a London taxi driver, i received two Kew Gardens coins in my change, ive kept both of them. I believe the Issac Newton 2018 coin, is now the rarest 50p, as it never went into general circulation, and was only available for visitors to the Mint.
A friend of mine once made a 50p coin out of grey steel, he cast it in sand, it weighed a lot more than a real one but was perfect in every detail and asked about it, he said a nephew of his whom he'd given as a curio for his collection, actually spent it. I doubt it's still in circulation but you never know. The 50 p had just got into circulation and he wanted to show off how good he was at his skill as a stump moulder.

My uncle chucks all of his change into a pot after work and every time a pot/tub gets full up, I get to count it all and put it into bags (I love counting coins) The weekend we just had, I counted £588 pounds in one pot, I found a few ‘special’ 50ps as I like to call them 5 Benjamin bunny’s 2 Peter rabbits 2 Beatrix potters A floppy bunny There were some other ones I think maybe an Olympics one or a war one I can’t remember But I really wanna find loads of special 50p coins, just to keep them Cos they look cool Probably put them in a pot or a book like you I also found 2 £2 coins that had Brunel on them? Another £2 that I think had a woman who went to war? I’m not sure But if you see this, did you buy all of those 50p coins on something like eBay or whatever? (I don’t do shopping I have no clue) or another site? Or did you just collect them over the years? -this is the first video I’ve seen by you but I have defo subbed because I wanna know how to sort the special coins out (or something?) 😋❤️❤️

Hefty Sack the other day was in the pub and asked for change for the pool table and they just opened a new bag of 50p's everyone in the bag was a different Olympic coin many I've not seen before, me and the landlord ended up splitting the bag between us.

Both are common, but there are less of the IRB minted
