Hi Dan , I remember when you first started off and Pete from petesgoldadventures asked us to check out your new videos , well havn't you improved !! Dan you might have to show Pete how it's done ,Ha Ha , Cheers .
@@RockAndOre I don't use the GoPro much these days The phone with a selfie stick that makes a tripod is way to easy and can focus in on the gold which makes it way better than the fish eye lens of the GoPro just my thoughts lol
G'day mate. In this particular area, I can't get much gain out of bigger coils as there is huge EMI and ground noise issues and the rx gain has to go right down. Whenever I get the chance, I use either my 14" or 18" coiltek elites. I do love using the big coils but some areas just wont allow for it. Thanks for the comment mate, happy hunting.
@@RockAndOre Hmmm strange? From time to time I have issues with EMI but only because of unsettled conditions in summer or too close to power lines. I run my machine a little noisy but generally its tolerable. Try this setting in diggings, and the settings are dynamite on shallow or deep leads. Try Normal or Extra Sensitive - sometimes I can even get away with using Sharp!. Tracking on. Mode General. Mono select obviously. Sound Normal. Both volumes around 14 if phones on. Lower for the speaker. Gain around 4-6. Stability between 15-20. These settings are too noisy for hills. Only suitable for diggings and gullies. Swing low and slow and wait for the rising sound. Worth a try if you want to find big stuff. Thats what I generally go for. I will be going to Dollys Creek this weekend. Remeber Gain is strictly a volume filter abd Stability is an information filter. But it is noiser! Anyway good luck.
Cheers mate. I totally agree with you and I will be doing some heavy work in this spot over this coming week. I will be sure to video the process and share with you guys. Take care Anthony.

Some nice peice there, the area you are detecting needs to be pushed. It has potential for some very good nuggets if you removed the top layer off.

No worries, good luck hope you get a 20 plus Oz.
