Thanks for your time Paul, but yes, a re-test with similar sounding timbre would be a very useful test for us! Thanks again for making this though!

The correct thing would have been to set the same parameters on both connectors, take a sample and then, for example, try to make them sound the same and take another sample.
This way Magenta sounds dark at the expense of Massive.
    Thank you for you comparison

it's strange that you did less highs on magenta, because it wasn't enough for a similar result.

Yeah I mention it before the samples.... Setting both plug-ins up with the same settings does not render the same results. you either have to push the Pulsar higher or dial back the magenta.

I am doing the same comparison right now. I mix commericals and work with a lot of VO and I found Massive is silky smooth and the "esses" are not harsh at all like they can be on Magenta. I think the compressors are a toss up so I'll probably just get the EQ since it's on sale now and stick with acustica for the compressors.

Agree! Using plug-ins like these on work like that feels like a cheat code. Thanks for commenting and sharing!

I took Pulsar Massive recament after having used the emulation of schaak audio for a moment, and I find that it sounds very right it has a specificity and a color which is clean to him numerically speaking it is round but brilliant at the same time, Magenta him has a kind of voluptuousness and of tact that the massive one does not have!
I need to know friend, how did you modify the skin of Magenta from Acustica ? I have it and Coral but I never understood how to change their colors

Agree! Check your Aquarius installer. You should have a special skin install for Magenta. I’m not a fan of the red so I installed this one.

@@PaulMDiaz Yess , I prefer the dark one neither, I have coral too but acustica remove the green black and blue skin 😐 !
Love the clear glue effect of magenta that keep the master really tasty ☺️ !

Magenta is more natural, once the pre is engaged it's basically analog.

I really like them both. I’ve had magenta for a while and it’s great. Thanks for commenting.

I like the magenta compressor, but as an owner of the hardware, massive is a lot closer to the real Eq, especially when driven hard.

@@tobiasjone that’s great to know, I don’t own the hardware. Thanks for sharing!
