  • This video features two Delta Air Lines 747-400s - one landing and one taking off. Both filmed May 19, 2010 about 20 minutes apart at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

    Very nice vid! I've flown on Delta's 747s many times. I just flew the MSP-NRT route a few months ago! :D

    @BabyBang17datruth Without a doubt! The takeoff runway that the A380 will use (9L/27R) is 11,889 feet long. Another 500 feet is currently being added as well.

    @BabyBang17datruth 9,000 feet is more than enough, even for the A380. There's no firm date yet for it coming to ATL, but we'll let you know as soon as it's scheduled. Thanks!

    I hope Delta brings back the 747's from Atlanta. I believe the one they used on the Honolulu route is now gone.

    @zjorda456 They got the former Northwest Airlines Boeing 747 fleet when they merged.

    I'm just lost here if an A380 but if it was an AN-225 then that would not be good
