Another great video, Tim, thanks. This one really motivates me to wake up early one of these Saturdays... trying to avoid the contests too, which IMHO take out all the fun of making DX contacts. EFHW is next on my list of portable antennas to try.
Nice one Tim. Silly question, have you ever opened up the box to see what type of matching it is? I would be really curious. The G whip one I have is just a coil with spacing in it at certain points and rated at 150w. My ones I've run over 800w and all good.
thanks for sharing Tim, wonder what time that was. I was on 20m ssb, but the band is only open here for about 15 mins into the uk this time of the year, especially this far south.
@@timg5tm941 probably just missed you, band closes quite quickly this far south around that time. I worked Nigel g4bsw at o630, and 10 mins later the band was dead here, but vk,s were in qso with the uk.
I also have this type vertical antenna setup behind vehicle. I like this antenna which easy to setup and have good performance.
Totally agree .. so easy to set up
Very good Tim, keep doing what you do, we all love you!
Thanks Richard!

Fabulous Alain - enjoy!
I use a wooden door stop my son made in school as a wedge for the mast in the drive-on mount.
Good choice Mike!
Damn! Shaving 50yards off made all the difference :-)
Better location as no other cars could park nearby - the guy moved so I quickly moved to his spot!
Love it Tim.
Thanks bud!

4:30 - I eat a third of a Mars bar a day - it helps me rest.
Doesn't it alternate?
@@paulsengupta971 Depends on the part of the Mars you eat. I only eat the middle third :)
Nice!
Nice job there Tim..73
