"No story lives unless someone wants to listen, so thank you, all of you." "The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page, or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." -J.K. Rowling
When she said "And whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." I swear to got I burst into tears :'(
Yes Even though we aren’t there their is Disney Wold which has Harry Potter theme to it :) take a Tour throughout the place and get anything Harry Potter related you would feel your a student
"Dan he didn't get lucky " that line about him made him even more of Harry Potter and Emma Hermione for voicing it like that. And regardless of how his character was done by movies , Rupert sounds like a witty bloke. Not unlike Ron
This video made me cry... 8 years passed but I still miss them all. I love HP movies so much. I love hp movies so much that I watch a hp movie every day . Thank you for making my childhood so awesome!!
The crowd cheering "Thank you" when Jo is speaking in the end is just amazing. If I weren't already teary-eyed from Emma's speech - that would be the point where I started bawling like a child whose sherbet lemon had been snatched away by dentist parents à la the Grangers.
This is my childhood. and I will never forget every minute of the stories or the amazing movies. I hated to read before I picked up the first Harry Potter book, and now I couldn't imagine life with out it. I miss every minute, but Hogwarts will always live in my heart, and will always be home. Thank you so much.
Jo made this happen. All of that, those relationships, Dan, Rupert and Emma's childhood and careers, all those people are there because of her. I can't even begin to imagine how she must feel being there, seeing what her work has done for everyone... And yet she's still humble, down to earth and this generally amazing person. I'm speechless. THANK YOU, JO.
I can't handle this sadness anymore! I'm just literally in tears. Harry Potter will always live on. It'll live on in all of us, forever, because it's timeless. The stories have no age, or gender, or race. They are the perfect stories to read, whether you're 7, 18, 30 and even 50. That's what's so amazing about them - they're for everybody and they won't be forgotten too quickly.
Thank you to Dan, Emma, and Rupert for being so lovely and treating our beloved characters with the beauty and grace, while bringing them to the screen in such a real and authentic way.Thank you to all of the other cast and crew, especially those not always seen in person, but through their incredible additions of art, visual effects, and incredible details they have put in all of these 10 years.
4 years on and I'm still crying.. This is the end of my childhood and I've never forgotten that it was those 4 that gave me my childhood.. I've always liked reading but it wasn't until the books came out that I LOVED it.. I looked forward to reading each book when it came out and when the movies started I was so excited about seeing them :) I have nothing more to say other than my life will always be magical because of this series :)
Crying :'( When the first film came out I had just turned 6 years old. My dad had taken me and since then I fell in love with it. I've read the books and have seen the films, and I still cannot get enough of it. Many of my childhood memories involve Harry Potter, and to see it ending is hard. Yet I know that I will read the books to my kids and see the films again with them in the future, and share this magnificent world with them, that many of us have found home in. Thank you, JKR. x
"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." At that point I just lost it. Started crying like a little baby. I'm so proud and happy that I am apart of the Harry Potter Generation. It will forever stay in my heart. And I will make sure my children have a wonderful childhood as I did with Harry Potter.
i still cry every time i watch this.. and i've watched it many times. I'm so grateful that I got to be apart of such an era and will be able to talk about it later on in life. It will defiantly live with me the rest of my life. It's never the end for Harry Potter because i'll probably watch every film every year. I love the books, they did a great job with the movie and i am thrilled that i'm a part of such a legend as we call Harry Potter.
This was so hard to watch! It's so hard to believe that this is actually all coming to an end after 10 great years of Harry Potter! I will never stop re-reading these books
I will cherish the words of every single person on that stage for the rest of my life, they are my idols and together, they have just delivered the most heart-felt speech i have ever heard, this is personally by far my favorite speech, Jo's words of appreciation and love have moved me more than any other speech i have heard before! watching this live will be an experience i will hold close to my heart, long live harry potter, let Jo's words remain in our hearts, and inspire our futures" Always."
I was 5 when my mom started reading me these books and I was 6 when the first movie came out. Now that it is all coming to an end I don't know what I am going to do with the rest of my life. I think that these books have shaped our generation and will be with us for a long time. Long live the Harry Potter generation!!!!
Oh God, it's really going to end... This video somehow made the end seem real, and alarmingly near, reduced me to tears, and had me giggling hysterically at some parts. Thank you Jo, thank you for giving everyone the chance to have a childhood filled with imagination, friendship, magic, dreams, and of course, love :')
I still cry at this! especially when the crowd starts saying "thank you". Sets me off everytime. Thank you Jo for giving me a magical childhood (Im 22 and I still watch HP every night and currently re-reading chamber of secrets for the millionth time)
i'm a teary wreck, those speaches just made an emotional time a little worse. i for one will be coming back by both page and screen. the harry botter books and films will always have a special place in my heart. THANK YOU JO for putting your heart and soul into the books to make them so magical and amazing THANK YOU THANK YOU
I'm crying my eyes out here. I can't believe this is over. I first saw this movie when I was in 1st grade, and I'll be watching the last as a big girl. Thank you for the amazing experience of Harry Potter throughout my childhood :')
Every time I hear those words 'Hogwarts will always be here to welcome you home' I start crying. I cannot help it. Harry potter has been my life since I was 9 years old now, without it, I just don't know what to do with myself anymore.
thank you so much for being a part of my childhood...i've grown to love these characters so much...the three especially...they not only made you fall in love with their work in the movies...they made you fall in love with them as people...always stay the best of friends....always stay funny...and always remain the humble and down to earth people you are...harry/hermione/ron forever!
When the thank you rant started I just absolutely sobbed. It just felt like everyone was finally getting the chance to express their gratitude to this wonderful woman for sharing her genius and her stories with us. I just wish we could get every Harry Potter fan in one room and just chant that over and over and over again. Then she might have some small idea of how much she has impacted us.
Harry Potter has shaped my life. I can't thank all of them enough. And thank you, Miss Most-Brilliant-Person for riding on that delayed train so many years ago. Really, I feel like I owe them my life, since they are the ones who are making it the way it is.
Goosebumps all over my arms. Tears in my eyes. And a big love in my heart for these fantastic and unique movies, books and people, who made Harry Potter come to live. The saga of Harry Potter will live forever and I'm proud to say that I was in that gorgous generation growing up with it. Thank you.
this is the best way to immortalize the best years of my life there's just no way to explain how proud I am to say that Harry Potter molded me into the person I am today & that this is not the end, this is just the start of remembering all the fantasies & magical places the world of Harry Potter took me to
From Emma’s speech to Jo’s I was tearing up and then when Jo said: “Whether you come back by page or the big screen, Hogwarts will be there to welcome you home.” I burst into tears and I just got into Harry Potter on Monday night. I wish I could back in time and watch them in theatres

I haven't felt like real emotions in like 5 years then i watched Harry Potter and it brought emotion back to me so if i had a chance I would thank everyone that was a part of this movie in some way because they helped bring emotion back to me.
I was crying when watching all of this. When Emma broke down, I did as well, and didn't stop. I think it's because I realized that this was my childhood coming to an end.
