Hey guys how are you all this week great I’m hoping? super simple meltdown today with a whole heap of tea light candles from my friend, but that wasn’t quite enough for me so I also did 5 large copper brass solder alloy coins. I seriously doubt anyone would have an issue if you also made candles. We watch you melt down the same metals over and over, and I think that is a testament to the man behind the camera and the random chaos keeps us coming back for more.
HAha, that made me laugh because I used to work with a guy who used to refer to things like that. "get some cleaning shit", "get me some spray shit" LMAO !!

A tip for you Bigstackd- When you are making a sand mold, and you need to pick up the 3d printed coins out of the mold, then it can ruin the mold many times if you pick it up by screw drivers and hand. I recommend to stick something on its back with hot glue and then pick the 3d printed coin out, by holding the thing which is stuck on it with hot glue. This way, the sand doesn't move and your mold doesn't get ruined. Hope this helped....
I started collecting both wax and soap pieces to remelt and cast anew as a Corona hobby. You have no idea how soothing it is to watch this. Great stuff.
I'm just going to throw this out there, I'm sure many of you can agree but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see some candles being made every now and then.
i think your videos and antique restoration videos are two sides of the same coin: giving something discarded a new lease on life, just in completely opposite ways. (and i've fallen in love with both genres!) super fun stuff, i wouldn't mind candle making too, hope you're having a good one ☺️
Bet you're well chuffed with the metal prices going through the roof. Your stack has shot up in value just sitting on that groaning shelf. Plz do a recalculation of it's worth. Good on ya. All the best.
I love that word "heaps". I've dated 2 Australian women in my life. Should've married the first one I met in Sydney, but anywho...they both said "heaps" a lot. A heaps of times. Lol. Wouldn't have guessed in a million years to melt those tiny aluminum tea candle holders. And, those large candles turned out great. Those coins looked pretty nice. Great video and was upped to brilliant with the boys. Stay warm and have a fantastic weekend. 👍

Candle making is class. I have always remelted all the candle scraps since I was allowed to use matches at about 7 years of age. It's creative.

Between supplies and fuel cost he probably lost money on this one. What was the aluminum worth at the end? $2. It only works at scale imho.
Maybe if he used electric furnace it would be OK. It’s much more efficient and for aluminium it’s great as it has low melting point .
