And just try make it from aluminium to reduce weight but still have metal look...

@@whymyluckstatsistoolow You got me, Its a big diffrent betwen weight of steel and aluminum but still sheet 1mx2m and thickness 2m got ~10kg so that was immposible.

@@whymyluckstatsistoolow How do the characters even lift those weapons. I like Monster Hunter Rise but the weapon's sizes had always threw me off, hence why I use the more "normal" looking ones like the Rifle, Katanas or double blades
@@DeVon675 there are hidden lore in all MH game especially in frontier item/armor description and location that the the hunter ancestors are genetically engineered to be superhuman to fight the great dragon war and they capable of fighting countless elder dragon that far more powerful than any modern day elders (except fatalis of course)
But that very advance civilization fall by unknown cause
And that explains why only some human can fight while other simply can't because they do not have the gene

This is so freaking awesome I just need to point out one problem, the only problem I could find: the extra grip space by the pommel is suppose to extend out of the rest of the grip. I assume that was known but couldn’t be done which is completely understandable and doesn’t detract from the awesomeness of this build at all
you even included the extention out of the shield! most people i've seen just put the sword straight into the shield without the extention. this is the best one i've seen so far.

My mind is straight up blown. I seriously didn't think this *could* be possible, let alone done with such Finesse, Mastery and outright _Artistic Sense_ woven into it. It made me want to try the Charge Blade though I've _Never_ touched them in all of my Monster Hunting experience. Hat's off to you.
Jeez. Just imagine it made of actual Steel? It would weight about as much as a small Car at least!
(wich Puts each and every Hunter on a Level with Spider-man in punto Strength. Not quite Hulk Level but pretty way up.)

You actually WANT your Greatsword to be heavy. Or Chargeblade. Or DualBlades or Whatever.
Its supposed to Pack a Mean Punch.
I think the best way to make this a real weapon would be a sturdy but light metal as the main material, then make it hollow enough to comfortably lift it, and make sure to have comfortable grips so holding it doesn’t hurt. Then in terms of the mechanics I think some gears and proper electronics may work to shift everything around. Now I would love to see this project with gunlance and switchaxe as well.
I mean all humans in monster hunter are descendants of a destroyed ancient civilization who used elder dragons as building materials to make giant structures, one of which was able to reach the outer atmosphere. I’d be surprised if they didn’t have super human strength

@@cooperlittlehales6268 unfortunately this actually still adds up… You know with over 51% of the players using nothing but longsword.. like bow is higher up too, but it’s like 2 people. And don’t even get me started on the whole -50 people playing lance.
@@thelostician every second person i meet on mhw pc is using chargeblade. sure there are lots of people using longsword but there are also heeps using cb
@@cooperlittlehales6268 ah of course, the 5th most popular weapon charge blade is only used by 8.3% of players in monster hunter rise and is only not as popular as the long sword, dual blades, light bowgun, bow, great sword, heavy bowgun, switch axe, sword and shield, hunting horn, hammer, and insect glaive. Now I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sound like number 5 most popular… it sounds like number 12. Only more popular than the lance/gunlance. Don’t BS your statistics, long sword is officially used by 40.2% of players, CB - 8.3%…. It wouldn’t be so inaccurate to say 6 people, now would it. mhw world ended, rise is now. The world statistics no longer have meaning.

This video made me realize that Charge Blade and SnS is a left handed weapon. All this time, I never thought about it..
Lance and Gunlance as well
And i grip things harder with my left hand as well, might as well be a win for me
All the shielded weapons are, supposedly the hunters are trained to block with their dominant hand cause of how hard the monsters hit
In SnS case, you can use itens while unsheathed and the hand used is the right one. Which is commonly the dominant. Otherwise you would've to drop your sword or stab yourself in the face. Heheh
@@Gabrielcprb I mean in the first game, you had to sheath the weapon anyways to drink potions. By the second game they could have made a left handed potions drinking animation for the SnS.

Rust is so impressive I wonder if that means we can make real working Monster Hunter weapons.
You can make them you just won't be able to use them probably. Make this thing of steel and you'd need to be a fcking strongman just to hold it make it out of carbon and you wouldn't have much of an edge. Composites might work though
