I like how the designers fail to understand that while the color palettes were different in medieval/renaissance times, everybody still tried to use the brightest colors they had and not browns and greys apart from penitent religious orders.
They know their days are numbered now. They're just flailing in all directions at this point. It will take a long time to weed their "culture" out of companies, but their days are numbered. It took gamers and normies to stop this madness. Hopefully it wasn't too late.
It's really Sad. An Obsidian RPG is coming out and is going to be "Free" if you have gamepass, and yet I'm not sure if I'm going to bother playing it...
Subscribing to gamepass is like preordering every game for perpetuity. You should only expect to get 💩 since you're ensuring the devs get their money BEFORE you get your product. A business model dragging the industry down. And because you pay so little for it you now have no right to complain about what you're being given anymore. Isn't that fun?
@@TheXboxSux I had gamepass for a month for a quid. I tried out all the games I thought I would like. I ended up with one game I kinda of liked out of that lot. Which, became free on Epic later. Gamepass is a great way to demo games.

I think the main problem is that these companies give a 'voice' to every little peon who works there. The idea of ready communication is not a great thing - even for other reasons. I worked for a startup software company and wound up with multiple roles (software integration, training, QA, customer support and input into product design). One of the three owners was also the 'senior developer' and I had to constantly do damage control when he communicated directly to the customer, often when he was at dinner and probably a few drinks into the night.
'Peon' is not really the term Id use. Imo, dont give voice to people who dont know wtf theyre talking about, aka has nothing to do with gaming. (But thats a pipe dream, only people who dont know the first thing about gaming and source material fail upwards.) It also doesnt matter if the company closes down. All these parasites, both below and above (the moneybags) will just get the golden parachute into the next company they will ruin.
Alot of Microsoft run projects have the tinky winky art style over the last few years, it must translate well-to cloud gaming/streaming on mobile devices which is an area they want to go

I'm sick of the "strong independent woman warrior" trope. If you want a woman to be a warrior, they should be a warrior a way a woman would be, not the way a 200 lbs man would be. Why are they all wearing plate armor except when they're just wearing the pauldrons? They need to take these devs and make them suck it out in the Army for two years to truly understand how much it sucks to hike through the mountains carrying a full 30 lbs and wearing armor. Make this stuff at least some what realistic.
Skyrim is a great game but not perfect, it had jank but the world was compelling enough to push through it. Skyrim also had a more muted colour palette. Avowed seems to be treading the same path as their previous game outer worlds with a very saturated colourful palette. What worries me is the pronouns but also the balance, a lot of female characters front and center. Are there going to be any male characters that a male gamer can relate to. It also looks a little cartoony like failguard which again is worrying. If they don't release reviews or are selective with reviewers then that will be another warning. This is definitely a wait and see.
@ oh it’s awful dude, if there was any doubt that all the creative talent that made new Vegas was long gone it has been thoroughly solidified now Have you seen the pictures of the developers? It’s a clown show! They all look like they could be five minutes away from their local Starbucks
@@JackEverton101 Well we still got Vegas. Good memories. I still replay the UE unmodded. Not even bored of the vanilla replays. Still got my PS3/360 versions and on PC with Steam/Epic. I was never keen on the local, but the everything else kind of amazing. Mad Max got some amazing eye candy looking desert. If only Vegas, it would of been perfect. Maybe I should look for a eye candy desert mod?
I hate current fucking day in my damn fantasy game 😂 😂😂
Who else knew Avowed was going to be shit
Current day western AAA? It was inavitable
As soon as I saw the 30 min playthrough on YT, I said to myself, "Huh, it's svicide squad"
I disavow 😗
I kinda hoped it would have Fallout NV levels of quality, guess are getting more of a outer worlds
Once I saw the Blue bloke from Avatar, that's when I knew.

Outer Worlds was safe and boring. No bite or edge to it at all like New Vegas. I don't expect much from this Obsdian.

That's more social media. They think let it get to their head their positions and then they go tweeting the stuff they talk about regularly at work.
Avowed looks like Sea of Thieves to me
Sea of Trannies.

Steam, 139.95 AUD for 40hrs of game play.
That's pretty shite if you ask me, and I have no doubt IGN will give it 1000/10

I saw RIP and Silverback and got scared
Meh, I just buy rated A games now. It may be mostly "puzzle" games, but at least I get to look at attractive women.
So, puzzles where you make the round cylinder fit inside the round hole? Best kind!
None of these games since the release of the ps5 or xbox series x, dont look next gen. Not one. Im stil waiting!
Demon souls

It almost seems has if they go from final draft to first draft whenever they make something

I play more skyrim than anything else lately
I was blocked on X by Avowed and Obsidian for making a comment about the pronouns in the game
@ 16:18 WTF is that game character?? 🤨
i dont even care if the game is good at this point, im not gonna buy it.

Considering they went for 2 hours, that's not bad.
