I usually just book/kaiju/divincarnate/nibiru/sphere/lavagolem/any regular handtrap (depending on deck) for their incredibly linear and telegraphed combo, idk what folks problem is. Tho i do want shangri-ira banned so they cant cheat arise out, cant cheat out more kash monsters, and most importantly cant lock zones (as well as limiting arisehearts opportunities to chain-banish-eat).

I’ve been doing pretty well so far in Diamond against Kashtira. I’m using Swordsoul with book of eclipse and evenly matched. Booking their whole field and clearing their board with Baxia and Vashuda feels really good.
Been laughing my ass off all day setting shaddoll dragon and pass with veiler/Imperm in hand, admittedly all the wins have been rage quits after I bounce either arise or shangri but the ride has been a joyous one
Not even, tear is always the more annoying deck to play. Especially since in MD more people are maining turn 2 cards anyways to deal with them. Annoying for sure, but not more than tear
Honestly, it's very weak even compared to other top tier decks. The problem card was Diablosis. With that gone, deck's just Macro Cosmos on legs, which sounds terrible at first. But then you'd notice the entire format going against Kash, and you can see the results; it's flopping. Hell, it's super weak going 2nd *and* under Maxx "C." Compare that to Tearlaments who had almost their entire deck limited with some stray hits to it, coupled with the fact that the entire format was also against them, still reigned supreme.

At least Tearlaments beat you conventionally, so there's *a* chance to play.

Idk what to tell you, but although Macro is more of a pain on paper tear is the one where you’d have to deal with on every single duel and against almost any hand that’ll get them to a strong board. You can run books, kaijus, nib, dark ruler, etc. but tear could outplay their counters for the most part 🤷🏻♂️

Because they still get rewards for losing it's better to scoop and SelfTK in another game than wasted 30 minutes being held hostage. I remember in the early MD events when the best strat was SelfTK I ran a "keep the opponent alive" deck

I really wanna thank Konami for releasing full power Kashtira into master duel right after months of it being a plague on the TCG. It’s made me realize just how abusive this relationship is, and has caused me to finally quit Yu-Gi-Oh and master duel and do something more productive with my life. So thank you, Konami, for helping get my life back together after it was ruined by a children’s card game with 110$ pieces of cardboard that are absolutely essential to play in the format.
While toxic like any other floodgate i really wouldn't call it as powerful as tear on release, the pre-hits and the consistency hits make it really bricky and with Mikankos, galaxy eyes, purrelys around everyone is running kaijus and lava golems something that affects Kashtiras as well. The deck really falls into tier 2 category lmao.
Yeah, it's not only about consistency, the kashtira board is very fragile because there are a lot of board breaker cards that can easily wipe out their entire board and leave them without resources for the next turn. Tear was a resilient deck with several interruptions that made the board very hard to break and it was also interactive, while kash is based on a floodgate, once you remove it it's done.
I was just held hostage by this godawful deck. Anyone who plays this deck needs to get checked by a therapist because I think they may be a psychopath my brain is rotting

kash is mid until i can never draw any of the like 9 outs in my deck for arise heart, and they always open dimension shifter and i cant draw ash or finger.
The one thing i absolutely hate about Kash is that theres only one deck in the game that can escape its floodgating nonsense: Floo I play Pendulums so cards like Shifter and Arise-Heart aren't the end of the world since my GY isn't much of a resource for me anywaus bjt the deck conveniently has fucking Shangri-Ira to lock a scale zone and winning off just that
You do know what happens to Pendulum cards leaving the field when under Macro Cosmos effects like Ariseheart right? Those cards aren't going to the extra deck.
Blind second Vaylantz has been performing surprisingly well. I guess any deck with natural synergy with Kaijus/lava is kind of well suited to the format, though.

You report SelFTK players? Those aren't necessarily bots. I actually did that for a while thinking downranking before a Season ended would work like that, and it was very refreshing to play with a completely different objective for a while.

Losing can make you derank within a named Level (such as from Gold 1 to Gold 5) but not from one such Level to a lower one (such as from Gold to Silver). The original idea is to get to a lower Level before the Season puts you on the next lower Level, so you start the Season two Levels below the one you reached during the season that is about to end but that is apparently impossible.
Arise Heart isn't even that good in MD from what I played but people are scared of it or throw everything at it if I make my one copy then they die to Chengying or something I can make. It's funny.
