When he lands from the jump I'm pretty sure he left the bottom of the radiator on the landing ramp or an oil pan. You can see it puking something all over the track
Impressive driving, can't believe a tire didn't have a bead break loose! Loved the show growing up, my neighbor across the street had 2 chargers a 68 383 & 69 440. Looked like he busted the oil pan or radiator at the end & missed the downside going a little to slow..
Legit police-duty tires (yes, you can buy them, but they are pricey) have a double thickness sidewall that helps reduce the likeleyhood of hard/side impacts blowing the tire off the wheel.

I just picked up my second general lee and I'm very excited because it is one that was used on the DOH TV show. I will be restoring it this summer. We found a John Schneider business card under the seat. My guess is he lost it while driving and it fell down between the seats. Has a little frame damage but I will be able to fix it no problem 👍. Such a great tv show. Sad we no longer will see shows like that again. Every show had big Hollywood movie car stunts etc. Today everything is way to fake so to speak. CGI has ruined things sadly.
