- SALINA, N.Y. - The I-Team is taking a look at the man who was with Christopher Murphy the night he gunned down two officers.
A question asked during Monday's press conference got a quick answer from Onondaga County Sheriff Toby Shelley about Shawn Kinsella.
Neighbors say Kinsella and Murphy have been friends since childhood.

The suspect is dead. Don't go after the friend just because you're angry and want someone to blame.
He will have to leave because they will ruin his life! Your friend loses his mind and you’re responsible?
Why are they outing him like this? Placing a stigma on him and probably ruining his reputation; possibly life. This seems really wrong.

Are you kidding me? Pictures from 2008? They were smoking cocaine and celebrating a getaway so how do you know these were not criminals who just got caught this time? Wow!
I know my brother and I knew chris since I was in first grade… he snapped due to the cocaine, I’ve drank with him plenty and he was fine, mix cocaine and he had a jeckle and hyde side. My brother tried to talk him down, Chris wasn’t having it, he had tunnel vision
What crime is fence jumping? If there is no articulate suspicion of a crime, there is no right to harass or enslave them. Not a trouble maker…I wonder if any rights were violated in the process….did the officers have their weapons drawn on somone innocent? if so then that is tyranny a crime punishable up to ☠️ just a thought…all men are equal…we all bleed the same 🩸….a silly costume gives no more rights than the homeless man on the street….and the friend has no obligation …5th amendment…another violation by the nerd speaking at the end…you took an oath…that is legal binding and not to be violated….period
