- SALINA, N.Y. - The gun used to shoot and kill two officers in Salina on Sunday night had an illegal magazine attached, according to the Onondaga County District Attorney.
On Tuesday, investigators removed at least six rifles as well as a crossbow and arrows from the house that 33-year-old Christopher Murphy was living in on Darien Drive in Salina.

The law in New York limiting people to 10-round magazines is also unconstitutional. Additionally, there's no such thing as a magazine clip.
I hoped I was not the only viewer who knew this. What kind of sickness takes a man's brain this far out of reality, where was the mental health system when the shooter was not a k. They concentrate on the inanimate object, but there were people killed for no reason NO FING REASON. two law officers and a sick man died over insanity.
These journalists are so out of touch from reality as a result of sheltered lives. I've owned what they call "illegal" since the 70s and they never hurt anyone.

Stop. According to the constitution there is no such thing as an "illegal magazine" as far as firearms are concerned.
New York has some odd relationships with the Constitution. they could have been one state that was against the American revolution, want8ing to remain loyal to the Crown.
I have read about a repeating black powder rifle that uses a lever action to put a ball in the chamber, and the powder reservoir has space for 20 or so powder charges before being empty. I was told it was used in hunting large animals. if it can carry more than 1o repeating charges, is it illegal in NY

I think the "magazine issue" is almost comical... They should make a law making it illegal to murder people (or maybe they already have?). Think about this: if law abiding gun owners (even those with "high capacity" magazines) were the problem, you'd know about it.
